Think Ravanelli got 16, in the PL though so fewer games.

Fuchs didn't score that many.

Maybe not. I recall him scoring against us one year (it may have been two) and I just presumed he was quite prolific.

Edit: 9 in 13 games. I've just seen his goal against us on You Tube that we gifted to him.

I like Bamford, he needs game next season in the Premier League for sure. Has a touch of class about him. Think he'd actually make a good back up for Costa with Remy but at this stage he needs to keep playing regularly

Half a season on loan at a lower Prem side and then into the Chelsea set up? I think he'd be ready for that.

I suppose it depends where Chelsea strengthen. if they sign Dybala, who can play up top or behind the forward, he may find it tough to even make the bench. They will always look to keep strengthening too. He may have to leave permanently eventually.

Bamford lacks pace, very good player but I don't think there's much realistic chance of him ever making it at Chelsea. He's just part of their policy of signing young talent for middling fees and then punting them on for a lot more than what they paid.

FM-tastic.

More weird drama at Leeds. 6 Cellino signed players all suddenly withdraw with injury

Certainly not what you'd expect it to be, is it?

How to celebrate winning the title.

North American legend Cuauhtemoc Blanco retired on top yesterday, sealing the Liga MX title in his final game.

One of the most awkward players I've ever seen, if I'm honest. He doesn't look anything like an athlete, let alone a footballer. And yet he was always the most dangerous attacker on the pitch any time he played. Some of his best goals (unfortunately none in this video from his time in Chicago, where he was clearly a class above MLS for the time):

Here he is for Chicago. Probably better off with music than the truly awful mid-2000s American commentators ("release the kraken", anyone?)...

Clickbait: Football's Ultimate League

Really, what was the point of this article?

About as good as the "twitter football map" from yesterday where swarms of the uk was covered in red to indicate how obsessed with Liverpool we all are.
Im thinking some medijja Liverpool types are trying to finish top of something this season...(albeit made up)

Adam Johnson charged with three offences of sexual activity with a child under 16 and one of grooming.

Rotherham deducted three points for fielding an inelgible player. Makes things interesting now.
