My recovery has been really good TBF - did a 6km run yesterday and that helped LOADS, so much so that all the aches from my legs have gone. Good job as I'm running the Brum half a week on Sunday.
Unfortunately my toes took a battering, I'm going to lose 7 toenails eventually and my big toes are the worst affected. They were fine during yesterday's run as I wore my Evo SLs and the upper is mega thin and light so there wasn't any pressure on them, but they do not like being cramped in my work shoes today. Ouch.

Nah ran the marathon in my Adios Pro 4s. Never had any problem with them (and these are my 2nd pair), but your feet swell up over the course of a marathon so I think it was unavoidable. They were mega comfy TBF, lots of energy return. I only noticed the damage to my feet when I took them off after the race!

I go half a size up in Adidas shoes normally. I wonder if it's because it was my first marathon? And also, these are pretty new shoes - I'd only worn them twice before, the furthest I ran in them was about 16km. No hint of any issues before - no blisters, no hot spots.
