The Film Thread

I’m continuing to watch films I should have watched ages ago - just finished Lost in Translation, it’s ace.

Agreed. One of my favourite films.

' Last Christmas may well be the worst film of the year'

Never judge a film by its reviews, what's shit to some people may not necessarily be shit to others. Loved this one, made me laugh, cry, loved the music, and had a bit of a surprise which I wasn't expecting.

Unfortunately the lady sitting next to me at the end didn't feel the same way. Turned to me , said something like ' Well that was bloody cheesy wasn't it ' :(

Watched Rambo: Last Blood last night. Bloody nora some of the deaths are a bit graphic!

Do you think Brie Larson would mind slumming it with an overweight middle aged bloke in Hednesford ??

Surely the point of a film like that is to be cheesy? What was she expecting!

I know. All I said was " i'm surprised you managed to see or hear much of it, you've got through a family sized bag of fucking Revels in the time it's took the film to play "

I always seem to sit by movie munchers :(

Have just seen the trailer for 1917, looks good :)

Just out of Rise of Skywalker. Absolutely loved it. Glad I went to see it on my own, as I did get rather excited at times...

Lost Christmas with Eddie Izzard. Loved this one. It's now added to my all time Christmas Film List.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Tarantino at his self indulgent best.

I liked it. A bit long and meandering but worth it for the mental final act.

I liked the Bruce Lee scene. People didn't half get their knickers in a twist about it though.
