The F1 Thread

Hamilton must learn to calm down, at the time I said it was a crazy thing to do. You cannot make a move like that and escape punishment.

To be fair, would he have seen the car coming round the corner?

He broke a rule and was punished but I don't think it's as crazy as you are making out.

Hamilton takes Massa and Alonso spins again.

Hamiltons call on the inters. Poor call but hindsight and all that jazz

Lewis puts in the fastest lap - this should be a good finish.

Button from Vettel. Fernando 3rd and Lewis 4th.

Great way to celebrate your 200th race

Super race that was with all the changeable conditions and different tyre strategies.

Fabulous race today, some really top notch driving throughout the field.

Moment of the race - D'Ambrosio stacking it as he went for his pitstop. Hilarious.

The Hungaroring used to produce the most boring races possible. Get pole and you win. How things have changed, brilliant racing today.

He has done it before. When you spin on the track, you must not force other cars off their racing line, and that is exactly what Lewis did.

Not so Frank, Lewis won from pole in 2007 but that's the only time it's happened post 2005.

Mansell wrapped it up here in 92 if I remember correctly.

Was a very enjoyable race. Was on edge of my seat from the start seeing as everyone was struggling to gain any traction out of some corners. Nearly every driver made a mistake today aswell which shows how difficult the conditions were. Have to say a great drive from Buemi too, 23rd to 8th. Great to see Jenson win for his 200th race as well. Now for 3 weeks of no F1 to watch. It'll be like next seasons come early.

4 weeks.....

Raceday for Spa is Sunday 28th August!!

4 weeks Psycho. At least the football starts again next week and by the time of the next race I'll only have one more week of working before going back to uni. Summer (if you can call it that) has flown by.

4 sorry. 3 sounded much better though if I'm honest. I'm thinking 3 because I'm hoping to still be able to go the Renault world series in 3 weeks which would have eased my need for motorsport. That now though is entirely dependant on Fulham game not being moved to Sunday as who I was going with can only make the Sunday.

As you say though, at least football season starts in the mean time.
