The Darts Thread

Price in full on prick mode tonight, then whinges when the crowd gets on his back. Keane Barry helping him by being 1 from 22 on the doubles after 2 sets

One competitive game out of thirteen so far, seven 3-0 wins and only one game has gone to a 5th set. The first round of the competition is effectively pointless.

This evenings looks absolutely awful. Peter Wright is going into it in abysmal form so expect another seed to drop out.

Meikle/Sherrock is an appalling standard so far, shite from both

The first round matches have been pretty poor on the whole, mismatches everywhere. I'd look at taking it down to 64 players rather than 96, seeds straight in. Would cost the PDC money from tickets sales though so won't happen

Peter Shitebite Shite scrapes through. Shouldn't have done. Won't be going much further.

First round has been appalling & theyre expanding the tournament next year as well.

It might improve if they played first to 2 sets in the first round just get some of the dross over and done with.

Suppose you’ve got to look at it from the players point of view too. Even if most of the first round ties are a formality, it’s still a nice little earner and some added exposure for them.

Littler is going to absolutely steamroll Meikle, though. Quality of most of yesterdays matches was poor.

£7500 to just turn up & lose.

the build up to Littler vs Sherrock would have been insuffurable but no matter who won Littler would steam roll them in 9 legs. You cannot average low 80's against any of the top 32

Yep only 750 quid more than a guy I've played super league against more than once (a few years back now though).

Aspinall was a tough watch. He’s not going to be anywhere near challenging if that form continues.
