Watched a bit of it yesterday. A couple of decent games, and also some true rubbish.
 
Grand Slam finals day.

Wayne Mardle is still a cunt and Peter Wright is now being compared to Terry Jenkins.

Of all the pro darts players I have met (there have been plenty over the years), the only ones who have been unmitigated arseholes have been Bristow and Adrian Lewis. Never met Taylor or Gerwyn Price though!

Ted Hankey was an absolutely delightful man. That surprised me, I must admit. Super bloke and very quietly spoken. Kim Huybrechts was quiet and just totally focussed on playing so hard to make a judgement about him really. He fucking annihilated me in the leg we played. Brendan Dolan said he would do that when I was drawn out. He sympathised and basically said Kim would play me as if he was playing Taylor as he is just a relentless play to win type even in exhibitions. He wasn't wrong!! It didn't last very long at all...
 
Cannot disagree about Hankey at all. He’s a true gent and very well spoken.

James Wade comes across a bit of a twat, has to have a private practice room doesn’t mingle with the paying punters until afterwards and is a hell of a nice bloke.

I’ve met and played Taylor (he won convincingly) makes time for absolutely anyone irregardless of there opinion about him. He loves the game and the phrase let’s settle this on the oche
 
It's all over for Raymond van Barneveld. His final World Championship ends with a defeat to Darin Young at the first round stage.
 
He was terrible but Cross was worse. Going to muller him in the rankings as he was defending all his title win money.

First I've really watched since the weekend, and this guy Edhouse is an obnoxious twat if I've ever seen one.

Standard hasn't been great so far. It does normally take a while to warm up though.

He's got those ultra springy darts which always annoy me.

By the way the BDO tournament is no longer even sanctioned by the WDF and I'm not sure they actually have a TV deal. It's also no longer at the Lakeside.
 
It's at the O2. Looks like the BDO is completely imploding though, judging by their statement.
 
Me and my big mouth as Edhouse wins. Will be a battle to see who can act the bigger twat when he takes on James Wade.

BDO is at the O2 apparently, all their referees walked out earlier in the year though so no one hunreh. It'll be on Eurosport apparently, not sure if Quest will still show the afternoon sessions.
 
There was some kind of shit with their Masters (lol) tournament at the Circus Tavern. They totally bollocksed up the draw and allegations of fixing.
 
When you look at the draw and realise that Mandigers and Harms are the best two left...

Interestingly all entry fees for BDO tournaments have been binned for the 2020 season. I can't comment about whether that could have anything to do with no fucker wanting to play for the shite prize money they offer.
