Not just what he hasn't done on the field but also the affect he's had. Yates never worked out at 3 and went from the verge of the England squad to being dropped and Burgess wants out and is allegedly refusing to play because he lost his place to him for the T20.

Matt Lamb got dropped after a couple of poor games after having a decent season beforehand, Stone, Sibley, Hose all going to other counties, presumably Burgess will follow. Fast bowlers always injured and the overseas signing an unmitigated disaster...again. Captain already supposedly knows he's losing his job, to god knows who.

There's still a big question mark over whoever plays out of Jordan/Woakes/Willey and Rashid has taken a bit of a battering.
