Brook giving them some right tap. Flaying the ball everywhere.

221-3 after 20 overs

Brook 81 off 35 balls
Duckett 70 off 42
Partnership 139 off 72

Over to the bowlers

He'll be a good Test player you can tell from the way he strikes the ball, it's not power heaves like Roy for example, they are traditional shots just with power and his unorthodox ones are all about hand to eye coordination and timing rather than being funky.

There have been comparisons to KP and I can see that. We need to look after him.

One ball was 156kph or 97mph in old money from Mark Wood

Good. We all know that the summer doesn’t have space for two T20 tournaments and at some point they will be merged.
Not sure that's a win if it ends up being an 8 team tournament who a lot of members still won't have a lot of interest in. The Hundred or any variation of isn't going to be the loser

A Division Two that includes the excluded counties into the 16.4 would be an easy solution.

Feels a bit Papa Johns. 3 of those teams made the 1/4 finals of the T20 last year and presumably their best players would still be taken away from them, so ends up being a shorter version of the current 50 over game

I’ve not worked out all of the details yet but it would be meaningful. A Division two finals day with the winner gaining promotion. Counties being able to choose 6 of their own to keep local interest high.

Controversial end to the womens ODI vs India. Englands final pair had put on approx 40 and needed 17 to win and it ended with a mankad.

Shit rule and a shitty way to finish a game.
