The Cricket Thread

97-0 at close.

Nice and bright but off due to the light

33 needed in the morning then

Superb innings from Crawley
Well done England openers, barring bad weather tomorrow, should be an easy win.

Top four of that list very good indeed. The remainder rather sub-standard. Lees was crap this morning. Should have been out at least four times before he finally perished.

"Legends" is not the term I would use

Phil Mustard (10 ODIs, 2 T20Is)
Ian Bell (granted)
Mal Loye (7 ODIs)
Darren Maddy (3 Tests, 8 ODIs, 4 T20Is)
Tim Ambrose (11 Tests, 5 ODIs, 1 T20I)
Dimitri Mascarenhas (20 ODIs, 14 T20Is)
Rikki Clarke (2 Tests, 20 ODIs)
Chris Schofield (2 Tests, 4 T20Is)
Chris Tremlett (12 Tests, 15 ODIs, 1 T20I)
Stephen Parry (2 ODIs, 5 T20Is)
Stuart Meaker (2 ODIs, 2 T20Is)

Like any vets team, it's made up of people who still have the inclination at that age and whose bodies are vaguely capable of getting through the game.

I'm amazed Tremlett can even get his arm over. Beast.

Tom Curran, who has somehow avoided playing County Cricket for nearly four full seasons has just hit his maiden ton in the competition.

Not to suggest that Somerset are playing for a draw at Edgbaston, but Lammonby currently has 38 off 148 balls and Abell 40 off 104.

It's better for them but Warwickshire won't score 200 so Somerset will still win tomorrow if the weather holds
