2nd delivery of the new ball, Jimmy takes out Harmer's stumps for 16

172-6

He's 40 and still our best bowler. Up there with Tom Brady in levels of remarkability without being a cheating cunt

Ngidi gone 0

179 all out

England win by an innings and 85 runs

Robinson 4-43
Anderson 3-30
Stokes 2-30
Broad 1-24

Still on holiday so can only comment on what I've read and Twiiter clips, but for me this is the best victory of the new era because aggressive cricket was married with playing the match situation when necessary whilst Root failed and Bairstow only did well, but not great. Someone said earlier that Crawley played a Sibley innings. As much as 2 runs an over and out in the 30s isn't sustainable I'd rather someone used up 100 balls and deaden it than flash and make 12 off 20 even moreso with the way the Duke is playing this year.

The best thing of all was to hear about Stokes building an innings, yet being destructive at the appropriate time. Still no need for the shot he got out to, but it would be churlish to quibble about that

Cracking victory, bit concerned with Stokes bowling himself for 14 overs straight tho...

His knee was a bit of a concern.
Just remember that ITBotham bowled 26 straight overs after knocking a big hundred with the bat.

Darren Stevens has just put Kent into the 50 over final (yes, it still exists).

Best economy rate by a mile of all the Kent bowlers bar a lad who bowled one over (bowled his full 10 as well), then scored 84* off 65 balls. 46 years old.

Crawley released for the 100, used up 29% of their balls for 20

Someone mentioned Muscat was a legend on another thread. He wasn’t on the pitch and certainly wasn’t off it.

Darren Stevens certainly is a legend.

Wood AND Woakes in the T20 World Cup squad seems an unnecessary risk, neither of them have played for months.

Feel for J-Roy but we couldn't keep picking him. That's probably him done now.

Gleeson and Mills are travelling reserves to presumably cover for that
