The Cricket Thread

Struggling to think of a better test win by England, some serious mental strength shown by many of the players especially after days 1 & 2.

Very different conditions though and let's not forget at least 2 of their team backed them to lose. Imagine the noise that would make now?

Without Rahul and Kohli, and to a lesser extent Jadeja, Rohit is suddenly doing a lot of heavy lifting in their batting line up

Any I think, as you point out Agnew and Vaughan are as dyed in the wool Tory as you can get.

Liew is an absolute arse though

Liew is a fucking wanker.

Just caught up with yesterday's play as was obviously otherwise occupied in real time, Hartley really did bowl very nicely.

Leach confirmed as out on Friday.

So Bashir and Jimmy in for Leach and Wood?

You would think so. Wood couldnt do anything in Hyderabad and the Visak pitch is supposed to be much more of a bunsen

Not sure that plays into India's hands at all. Our spinners look better than theirs which is just weird at this point.

Apparently visak is hard to make anything other than a raging turner. They need result pitches and are hoping our batting has a couple of collective brain farts

Yes.

England: Zak Crawley, Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope, Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow, Ben Stokes, Ben Foakes, Rehan Ahmed, Tom Hartley, Shoaib Bashir, James Anderson.

47 and my mind went blank! I could picture so many, knew their counties but couldn't remember their names :(

Only 50 for me - 2003/4 and 2008-10 were complete dead zones for my brain
