I think it tells you all you need to know about the pitch which I doubt will be fit for Test cricket and nothing will be done about it.

I’m all for making the pitch suit your side that’s the perks of being at home, however doing to a point it makes the whole thing a farcical event is another matter.
Having test matches done and dusted inside 2 days does the game no favours, just gives the BCCI a sense of how great there side is.

Yes, it cuts both ways, there are green tops we've prepared in the past which I think we should have been done for. Personally I think they should be handed over to an independent body 2 weeks before the Test is due to start, but as we saw in the WC India ignore those type of protocols even when they are officially in place.

It’s why I would never go over the top in praising an England home test series win.
Best England cricket achievements I remember is away series win, Pakistan 2001, SA 04/05, Australia 10/11 India 2012.

Visa has been sorted. He could be back with the England Test squad by the weekend.

With a competent spin attack then I'd agree. We've got two with next to no experience at all, one a part timer and Leach who can do a job but I wouldn't pick him over any of their spinners.

In fairness to India, it’s not their fault we’ve made zero effort to try and develop any spinners in this country.

Only two batsmen so far not made double figures. Sounds like every so often you get an unplayable ball

Always comes down to spin in India, why we won there in 2012 with Swann and Monty in top form.
