Looking bleak again, Bowling has been awful. Nevertheless playing day/night 50 over cricket on the sub continent hands a significant advantage to side batting second.

Thankfully the format means you can get away with losing 2 and you'll be fine (3 and it's borderline, we lost 3 in 2019 and went through, Pakistan lost 3 and got knocked out).

Reduces the margin for error though and it's doing us no favours on NRR.

Fair play to NZ who made the best of limited bowling resources (though we gave them more than a helping hand) and have batted brilliantly.

Pretty much outplayed in every facet of the game there and by some margin.
Probably means we’ve got room for 1 maybe 2 defeats v Australia, Pakistan and India.
Absolutely have to win the next 4 v Bangladesh, Afghanistan, SA & Sri Lanka.
