The Cricket Thread

It wasn’t a stupidly aggressive shot, it was just shit.

Difference being they were effectively 215/1. If they end up doing it for the next 6 wickets then yes they will get pelters. But they won’t as they don’t play village cricket

And why do they Keep saying height when it’s nowhere near too high but actually missing 5th stump leg side

Can't believe they're only two down, the bowlers have done nothing wrong here.

Aye we've not had a lot of luck with the ball today, on another day they'd be 5/6 wickets down.

Doesn’t look like anymore play today, awful position England find themselves in compared to how things were this morning.
Looks like Australia will probably set a total of around 400+ which they’ll get 4 sessions at most to bowl us out.
The game was lost this morning even posting an extra 40 runs would have made a big difference as it probably takes one session out the game if we needed to bat this out. Everyone loves bazball when we’re winning it’s biggest test will be if we lose this series heavily playing it.

I’ve progressed from anger / frustration to gloomy depression. 2005 it ain’t.

Not the most inspiring bowling so far, looked as dangerous as Dave Edwards

Are they really going to be stupid enough to chase down 500 in a day and lose by 250? Or will they see sense and take the draw against a team with no top level spinner

What do you think?!

This short pitched stuff might be an effective tactic but it is bloody boring to watch.

Great catch. Bit of a shame he didn’t also drag it along the ground a bit for extra niggle factor.

Stalemate England know Australia want more runs but don’t want to play the short ball. Australia will want to get in a position where a defeat is out the question that’ll take them well into this evening session and reducing the time to bowl us out.

I'd say they've got enough already. I'd think they'll bat until all out or until an hour or so to go and put us in.

I can't believe they're sending that poor cunt out to bat. What's the point?
