I never had the pleasure of seeing Robert Taylor play.

I did feel for the 'Hoff though - I think his attitude was fine just his ability was lacking but I suppose the net result is the same. I blame Rory Delap for us signing Halford and 'Hoff

I still can't believe we paid good money for him. I had the same feeling when we appointed Dean Saunders as I did when we signed Fat Bob. That feeling was, mainly, wanting to projectile vomit.
 
Ah, Blobby Taylor. What an amazingly talented and brilliant signing. We might as well have just set up a big bonfire on the Stan Cullis car park and burned tenners.

As for Taylor, this line in particular killed me :D

Taylor resembled an arthritic, overweight 50 year old stumbling out of Wetherspoons and half-heartedly chasing after the last bus when we tried that tactic with him.

Well written. Even if you're dredging up some painful memories.
It's a bit like getting flashbacks after a night on the booze.
Did that really happen? What were we thinking?
But we'll get over it and do it all again. :)
 
It's depressing looking back at the 90s and seeing what might have been and how bad we'd got it. It makes you think that anyone semi competent could have got us up and we could have been a premier league regular.
