Sunderland (A) Build-up and match thread

Lovely long diagonal ball to Douglas running to the by line looking for support, gets it from Jota back to Douglas to Jota cleared out to Neves and it kind of all fades out...

Enobakhare coming on for Costa.
MGW coming off for Bonatini..

Jota legging it in and the ball bouncing as the keeper comes out to head it clear.
Neves pings it in and Bonatini tries to work it in from 18 yards out but it's no good.

Bright concedes a really soft free kick, with the slightest of nudges after the ball has gone and the ref whistles up...

Ruben needs to tone down the shooting from 40 yards.

Norris not having learned his lesson comes right out but Molyneux goes round him and tries to get it into the unguarded net but cant. Norris would have been suicidal if that had gone in.

Fuck sake this is the best defensive record disappearing

McNair with a simple finish as we're carved open down the middle.
2 opportunities to tackle missed. one slip and one not tight enough and McNair slides the ball past Norris.
This will be only the Cat's 3rd home win of the bloody season!

Burgoyne coming on for Norris.
Big message here. Bye Bye Will....

First time I've ever known a keeper get subbed when not injured....
Game time perhaps?

Not sure I agree with subbing a keeper unless it's exceptional circumstances...by all accounts he's not been great but that will shatter his confidence to be taken off

McNair and Fletcher looking dangerous... Saiss gave that away and Nuno is looking pissed.
