There'll be promises of more similar quality signings but that will become "we tried" by the time the window closes. I don't know much about Dan Neil but the clubs exact words to people who went to the last fans meeting were "we are going to punch our way out of the Championship" I doubt the likes of Neil and Che Adams do that so it will be interesting to see what the level of signing is going to be.

Agree. There must be a talent in there somewhere because of all the hype in Spain. Doubtful Rob would discover it anyway, though.

We’ve really missed decent footballers that have time on the ball and can pick a pass. We’ve had fuck all of that this season.

Not that we will top the squad up as we did back then but Ruddy and Bennett were not punching your way out signings nor was keeping Doc and Coady.
