Just don't. Wigan away....Unfortunately, Andy Keogh was no Andy Keogh either.
If you click on that, it shows a tweet below it by Man Utd fan saying "Wolves have Neves and Nunes, their midfield is LEVELS above ours".
I'd take the 1998 Robbie Slater over Hwang tbfI'd 100% take the 2009 version of Andy Keogh over Hwang.
I liked Keogh but it isn't wrong to say that he never really lived up to his potential. He had good games, just not enough of them.Just don't. Wigan away....
Meh, depends how high you're setting the bar. Ultimately we bought him for £600k from Scunthorpe and he played and scored in the Premier League, as well as getting international caps.I liked Keogh but it isn't wrong to say that he never really lived up to his potential. I’d take the 2022 version!I'd 100% take the 2009 version of Andy Keogh over Hwang.
Definitely agree with the last bit.Meh, depends how high you're setting the bar. Ultimately we bought him for £600k from Scunthorpe and he played and scored in the Premier League, as well as getting international caps.
The way our fans were towards him at matches during 2007/8 was genuinely disgraceful.
Holy fuck, look at him go!
Tall, powerful, fast, young, probably cheap. All for that one, if true. But obviously I’d never heard of him up to about 15 minutes ago.
And yet they idolised Freddy Eastwood for spannering shots into defenders legs. The way our fans were towards him at matches during 2007/8 was genuinely disgraceful.
Maybe? Someone said we were going to be closing a deal for Nunes on May 15th a fortnight ago, and the Moffi link comes from him.Who is this Moffi lad? Is there an actually credible link there?
It’s true.A lot of rumours going around about Guo meeting with the Chinese Ambassador a few weeks ago, and being told that Wolves are an important public face of China in the UK and they expect success.
Probably bull****.
He's a big old unit isn't he?Holy fuck, look at him go!
Leave Freddy out of it.And yet they idolised Freddy Eastwood for spannering shots into defenders legs.
Interesting if true. And it does seem to make sense.Interesting post on the "rumours from the pub" thread on MM.. Thought i'd post it here. It could explain the complete 180 deg u turn on policy from the club. I don't know the poster (Beijing Wolf), and i'm not saying it's true, but it might just be the reason we are seeing the loosening of the purse strings.
It’s true.
Was not going to share this originally, but I had dinner with a friend of mine who has travelled over as part of Fosuns entourage. He is the son of a very prominent Government official and part of the closer ties between the CCP and Fosun has seen him move into the Fosun legal department, specifically UK business based as he has a Law Masters degree from Cambridge.
He told me that now essentially Fosun are the main face of Chinese business in the UK. Wolves represent Fosun who in turn represent China. Especially in the Premier League where we have owners from all over the world, it is seen as shining a spotlight on Chinese management and business culture. Essentially they really want/need Wolves to be successful.
Would explain this sudden splurge of money.
Not that I'm mad for the info, but has your friend ever heard of an NDA?Interesting post on the "rumours from the pub" thread on MM.. Thought i'd post it here.
