Meh, depends how high you're setting the bar. Ultimately we bought him for £600k from Scunthorpe and he played and scored in the Premier League, as well as getting international caps.

The way our fans were towards him at matches during 2007/8 was genuinely disgraceful.
You all remember how much I loved the player, he was never a prolific Goal Scorer but by fuck what a foil, work rate one hell of a Player

If we are using stats like that for an argument, I would like to introduce you to England's most successful manager...
I don't know what stats you use that doesn't come up with Alf Ramsey?

he never had a 100% win record
No, but he's the only one to win a fricking World Cup. If you think a 95th minute winner against Slovakia in a WC qualifier counts as more successful, then think again.

It wasn't a serious point, just countering Pad's silly 100% failure rate comment with an equally silly 100% success rate

Whooooooooooooooooooossssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

John Ward could be Wolves' most successful manager ever. Was in charge of either 4 or 5 games depending whether you believe DJ actually was in charge at Forest away in the cup. It's either a 75% or 80% win ratio.
