Summer 2022 Transfer Window

Do you seriously think that? :D
Wouldn't you be pissed off if you might be placed behind Andy Carroll in the pecking order. I think his nose was out of place when Sasa was starting ahead of him on Saturday and so suddenly got a groin strain, or was it chronic fatigue that was previously unnoticed?

wondering where this leaves Raul. I think he will be off come January
As our Number one striker. Costa hasn't played for ages and has been ignored for the summer transfer window by 99.9% of Europes top clubs. I find it hard to believe that he will come in and hit the ground running to such an extent that we'll get rid of our only other forward.

I can't believe that he's coming here to sit on the bench!

Tony Dinning left 20 years ago (Christ)

Seen nothing to suggest he's sulking, we are not letting our only fit striker go in January (I don't count Costa as fit)

So he could have chronic fatigue and your take is he must be sulking?
If he had chronic fatigue I would have thought it would not take until he's warming up for him or someone else to notice. I'm sure that chronic fatigue is not something that happens suddenly and it just so happened that his place had been lost to a new signing. I think that it's a great shame what has happened to Raul, wouldn't wish it on anyone but how long do we have to carry him. I had hoped that the close season and pre season he would have recovered as much as he ever will from a football prospective but there are many comments on here about his poor form and it's costing us. On form, pre injury he was great, I just think that now, the task is beyond him

An excellent sales pitch for a player you want rid of. We're selling him where then? And to have the exact same problem as we have now.

We could well let him go after this season if he's largely poor again as Fabio will be coming back (he did have some good games last season and he was alright against Newcastle this season). Not in January though.

This I what I said "wondering where this leaves Raul. I think he will be off come January". Every player has a sell by date when there abilities fall below that required by the grade of football. I think if he loses his place to Sasa, Costa, Carroll, Fabio or anyone else he will look elsewhere. Bit like Dendonker and Coady just did.

Raul didn’t have chronic fatigue. He had a groin strain. Our manager is one or all of stupid, a liar and awful communicator. Pick whichever you want.

1) Raul had chronic fatigue, turn out is was a groin strain.
2) sasa is nothing serious, Sasa has a torn ACL
3) Dendoncker won’t be leaving, at Villa the next morning.

Yes, I think his time is winding down here.

But we aren't going to sell him in January because that would be stupid and you're still saying we will.

It would leave us with Costa, an ageing striker in January and just not good business.

We're not signing Andy Carroll and Fabio is on loan. I would expect he goes next summer.
