Leeds want him and that is public, so I understand why the club are hoping to make more money out of this.
£25m would seem to be...optimistic.
I've no clue what Leeds' financial situation is but they have spent a fair whack this summer themselves...maybe they're short on cash to pay up front. I imagine we'd easily take £20m so long as they don't try to shaft us on the terms.
That said if Spurs for some reason insist on signing Dan James maybe that will oil the gears a bit and it'll happen.
At the same time if we price Leeds out of getting rid of Hwang for an actual fee I'd be gutted. Can't remember the last time I wanted an outgoing transfer to be completed so badly. There's a good chance we not only get a fee for a player who has so far shown himself to be lower Championship at best, but make a profit on him.
The fan in me is saying we should simply accept whatever offer we can get, this is a player who I thought we'd never manage to get more than £5m back on. But then the money from Hwang could be the difference between a signing in January or not so hopefully we get what we want.
