Summer 2022 Transfer Window

But I do believe its a prank to wind up the Twitter people.. Naughty for me.
That's daft. Not even our club is going to put together a major project launch in order to antagonise some no-marks on Twitter.

Trouble is there are some people who want their rage towards the club to really be noticed. Like noticed. Because if things go wrong they can say “I told you so”. If things go right they’ll spin it some other way because they know best. It’s boring, it’s futile but it’s also very transparent.

I don’t particularity like the way things are going, I’ve bought yet another season ticket and I’ll just watch the games as usual. I don’t care about what anybody thinks about what I think, I don’t care about “likes” and I certainly don’t like to tell other people what I think or pretend to have any knowledge of how the club works. Because I don’t on both counts. And I definitely draw the line at calling the club employees “morons”. Really don’t need to expand on that one.

When transfers happen they happen, if you get so wound up beyond that fair play to you, we’ll forever be on completely separate wavelengths. 😁

If you take Twitter as the barometer there are as many people who enjoy saying trust in the club, the window has only been open x number of days wumming the triggered as there are the angry brigade. It's not really football or Wolves it's just the tribal nature of social media, they feed off each other

Take this place as the baometer. Take the loudest voices. I don't do Twitter.

Twitter has been appalling for weeks now. The same people repeating the same tired lines that weren't funny 40 attempts ago.

What I don't get is the weird Venn diagram where those who slate our lack of activity and overarching poor strategy were also ok with us putting prices up last year and this year for no reason.

Putting prices up again was bang out of order. I'm on record as saying that if it hadn't been for Cass keeping her season ticket I wouldn't have renewed. There's no defence for the price hike, none whatsoever.

I don't think this place is particularly extreme to be honest. Yes there's a lot of repetition at the moment because there's nothing new to say. After that it comes down to posting styles some you'll like others you won't the same as the people you've met from here in real life I guess?

I renewed because some bigger boys told me to.

I do miss football (especially knowing we should have had a bloody World Cup over the last month, but we haven't), I miss the day, I miss the people, I don't particularly miss watching us play at the moment though that might change.

First part I agree, this place is far from an extreme (a couple of posters excluded). Yes there's not much new to say, but in that instance there are plenty who want to run the club down, tell others how pathetic things are and how the people who run the club are "morons". Why? I don't get it. Yes things are shit but does every other post need to belittle the club or throw names against them? They're not exactly the Bhattis are they?

Last part you're completely wide of the mark. Take Johnny for instance. Ask him how we started getting to know each other. I'm pretty sure the word "cunt" was involved both ways and we ended up sitting next to each other for years and I'd trust him with my kids' lives.

End of the day we're all putting input into a message board, if you keep posting the same old shite you become boring. If you keep posting about lack of spending and ethics but then promote IPTVs you're an oxymoron. Just my take, I don't post very often so it doesn't really matter.

At least we have some redeeming features, like having quality footballers who can produce moments of magic. Remember going week in week out under Hoddle and we had none.

I think we're an outlier in that most of us think Lage is shite whether he has 0 new players or 10 new players, but you wouldn't get that from the overall fanbase, they still think he deserves a chance (I don't get it, you don't get it, but that's where they are).

There's probably less of the "we were in League One 9 years ago" crowd on here. That's still a stock answer.

Probably less extreme on individual players, Hwang gets stick on here (he is rubbish from what we've seen so far, but nothing too over the top gets said about him) but it's unreal elsewhere. Dendoncker, Coady and Fabio get far worse in other parts too. Also far less ready to claim "Linked Player X" as definitely the saviour and we absolutely have to sign him or else. The wider reaction to Palhinha going elsewhere is crazy. He's not very good and definitely not what we need.

We definitely are a lot more anti-eSports/assorted nonsense and ticketing model than the support as a whole.

Still had Lescott under Hoddle and to a lesser extent Miller (gave it everything right to the end).

The entertainment values last season were around the same, the football was terrible.

Thinking about this, I'm probably better off trusting the kids with Johnny's life.

Not comparable to having genuine world class players though. I agree the football was shit last year, probably worse considering the talent we have available.

The explanation for Palhinha makes sense though, so other than wanting him because he's someone/anyone then there's not much to criticise. We know he would have come here if we wanted him to. Now if we sell Neves on August 30th are left with little time to replace him and spend £8m on John Fleck then it becomes a different story.
