I think there's a danger we're getting a little over-excited based on a (much needed) decent performance in a game with little riding on it.

RAN and Fabio have shown slight but encouraging progress, Vitinha looks a good player based on fairly limited gametime, and OO looks full of energy and worth having more of a look at.

I was enthused by last night, but I wouldn't be rushing to make too many grand claims about its significance

I vividly remember much over-excitement that we were signing AC Milan and Real Madrid players when Cutrone and Vallejo were due to rock up. That premature feeling isn't always trustworthy.

I agree with the sentiment, but Vitinha has now had one good game more than those two combined
