Im not convinced by Hwang as a wide forward. Better through the middle IMO but hopefully he can link up with Raul.

One of those managerial calls that will define Lage pretty early in his tenure. Decent result, then it's a ballsy call from a manager who knew things needed changing and utilised his squad. Bad result, he lost the plot and panicked.

Personally I don't think any of those dropped can complain, although not what I would have done. Would have been Pod, Donck and Boly for me instead of Moutinho, Saiss and Traore if staying with 343, but happy he's shook it up

If he is using Ruben and Joao in rotation it makes sense. 2 in midfield have to work real hard for 90 mins. Donk can do it. Not sure if Ruben and Joao can.

Unless Boly isn't fully up to speed i can't see why he's on the bench. Like you say it's a managers call. Let's see if it works.

You can’t say Lage hasn’t noticed his issues. He is making big calls today. Could be 352 with Podence behind Hwang and Raul . Anyways let’s hope for a good game and three points. Their midfield is slow in the centre

The one thing i'm happy to see is he wants to change it up if things aren't working. I'm sure he'd be playing Ait Nouri and Mosquera if they were available. Marcal is the only option to him right now.
