What's baffling is just how shit we've been in defense from literally minute one.

What's not really baffling is that we have zero depth in the squad right now. That much is painfully clear by now. MGW, Traore (much as I've defended him), and Costa have done absolutely fuck all. Compare to Southampton's subs who have all made a measurable difference in the game.

Unlike most of you, I really like traore, love flair players in general, reminds me of jay jay okocha or ibrahim ba, but he has been absolutely awful, i think its getting obvious he cant play at this level, sure he does one thing great but completely lacks awareness along with everything else

The commentator saying “they’ve looked tired wolves”, and he’s right, that Spain trip is badly needed. Jonny and Saiss have been terrible today, A’s was Neves, Raul and Jota didn’t get anywhere. Completely agree with Alan that the subs didn’t help at all. A poor performance, very disappointing.

I think I agree. It's not working out, and it's unlikely it will work out.

What this game does show is our small squad might be good in some ways, but in games like this (and at the end of last season too) it's an issue. We need at least 5 more players imo.

Yep, the back 3 have been poor all over. Coady's worst game in a Wolves shirt along with Jonny's. I think Nuno had the team wrong today, I understand why he picked the team he did but Raul, Jota, Moutinho, Jonny and Doc look shattered physically. Bennett should've played at the back too.

But hindsight's a wonderful thing.

Traore came on and did what he does a few times and should never be allowed in our penalty area.
