Season Ticket Discussion 2024/25

Will you renew?

I haven’t changed my mind i will still renew because i’m in a position to do so and i don’t know what i’d do without following Wolves home and away. I said at the time i love Wolves and not Fosun and that will always be the case so they won’t drive me away unless i physically can’t go but they’re giving it a good go at testing that year on year. It’s a terrible decision to increase the ticket prices at all never mind to the levels that they have and in particular the children’s prices. I feel so sorry for those that can’t go anymore and are actually being forced out of watching their team and there’s nothing they can do about it but also respect those that could still go but are making a stand.

One thing i would point out is that those behind the excellent mental health video were not those who made this decision. It was the excellent people in the foundation that made that but Jeff and the club got a lot of the credit. It’s not fair to associate Rachel and all the team that have worked on the foundations mental health projects with these prices because i guarantee they will be heartbroken that this has happened when they highlighted how for so many football is something that helps them so much.

The massive hike for the kids is the worst part. Club is cannibalising its own future, going to lose a generation of match-going fans and possibly drive them into the arms of the Sky Six. Peak short-term thinking, they really do want to milk us for everything.

Going the way of Albion under Lai.

Primary school aged kids being pushed out really saddens me. I know I grew up in the late 80’s & 90’s and it was mostly second tier football but I’m grateful it was affordable for my dad to take me to most home games even a mate from school on occasions. I know it sounds like harping back to a distant era but the principles remain the same, the reason I go now is down to the fact I went so often as a kid.

For anyone looking at relocating to a different stand I asked today and the window will be the 18th or 19th of June.

It was £22 each for my twins’ first season ticket in 17/18. Wolves have got them for life - the next lot coming through will not have anything like the experience they’ve had.

After taking him to his first match this year, I was looking forward to going to a few matches with Arlo next season. There’s no chance now as I presume the match day ticket prices will also rocket in price.

I’ll just cancel the DD tomorrow. Fuck em.

This is what’s pissed me off, I got Cass into Wolves and now she’s completely hooked. I paid for her season ticket until she started her apprenticeship when she took it on herself. Good on her, enjoying something she’d earned. But her ticket has now had a whopping 43% rise. She’s just bought her first car which wasn’t cheap and is being reamed to the tune of £360p/m for her insurance, and now she can’t really afford the season ticket anymore. I’ve subsidised her to cover her car but I can’t do any more than that, life is changing and my outgoings are seeing some very inflated changes.

So the fourth generation of Wolves fans (that I know of) in our family has now been priced out by Jeff, because he can. And he’s an even bigger cunt for telling us it may not be for us. Well fuck you Jeff you fucking ballsack, you keep the club to yourself and watch as you lose the people who are funding your useless fucking vanity projects.
Seeing Cassidy’s face so utterly dejected at not going to Wolves anymore, the thing that was OUR thing, our father and daughter thing, was fucking heartbreaking and I blame you. It’s all on you. I’ll never set foot in Molineux again while you’re still there. Thanks for that you fucking spiteful bastard.

Really sorry mate, that has really brought it home for me.

It’s really bothered me. Not that I’ll miss the football that much, the Nuno days are long gone, and I’ve had other things to do on the weekends lately, plus I detest VAR, but it was still the thing we’d done together for years, since League One. Now that’s gone and seeing Cass so visibly bothered by it really got to me. I’m getting angrier at that fucking wanker by the minute, Wolves was a massive escape for us at a really bad time in our lives and became one of her biggest passions and Shi has taken it off her. I fucking hate him for that.

Has anyone else seen these supposed emails from Jeff Shi going back and forth arguing with fans?

Just listened to Judah and Keen, fair play to them - they’ve gone right up in my estimation

No? I'd probably hazard a guess they're fake though
I was just listening to a Wolves Space on Twitter with Ryan Leister et al (I know) and they were talking about it but I joined too late for any context. Seemed like one of them hosting (plus a few others on Twitter) had received emails from Shi arguing points they'd raised in emails to the club.

If so then Shi is running scared, he'd just ignore the furore if he felt it was going ok for him
