I last went to 0 games in a season in 1987/88. When I was 6 years old so didn't have a huge amount of say in the matter.

I don't know if I'm more sad or angry about the debacle.

Its as though they have devised a maximum damage plan, and actually want to be hounded out.

Then they can say they have been insulted and will sell up.

The club do want ST take up to fall, so they can charge 60 quid a game v United.

The timing is so odd though, they could have charged anything when we were first promoted and/or when we were in Europe.

But it's now, when the ambition is on the floor, when there is a CoL crisis and when we have just finished 14th and keep saying in the press we are selling our most exciting players!

What a bizarre time to put STs up nearly 20%!?

They don't know what they are doing do they?

Or they honestly think that getting rid of "Legacy Fans" will allow them to be replaced with all of our foreign fans and high wage earners... Can't wait to hear the silence in the stadium...

I am equally impressed and disgusted as how Jeff can release an article attempting to show sympathy for the fans on pricing in football and then turn around and kick them in the bollocks and nick their wallets

Our sub-26k attendance for Bournemouth should have had alarm bells ringing. Apparently not.

I read this before the announcement, reading it again now is jarring!

“It’s very understandable that some fans feel frustrated if the cost for Premier League games gets higher and higher.

The only way to price it fairly is benchmarking our price with the other 19 clubs, especially with those peers who have similar fanbase size, stadium capacity and sporting achievements. It shouldn’t be much higher than theirs but shouldn’t be much lower either.

Our ticketing team have researched each Premier League club, compared Wolves on almost every aspect with them.”

It’s sad reading how many people may not even go to a game next season

On the bright side, the matchday threads are going to be soooo much fun
