Will you renew?

So Jeff, why was my ticket £449 in 2018 and yet here we are in the same league, but with lower ambition, and it's £735 now.

There's no justification for it.
They need it for "disposable income" cos we're a small club, apparently.

There will surely be a huge decrease in renewals?

Maybe this is the plan, get those on the waiting list in the ground as they might spend more money on tat.

The problem is of course, a huge number on the waiting list won't be waiting anymore.

I dread to think what the matchday home ticket prices will be like for some idiot like me. Was already part of the reason I haven’t been to a home game this year
They're already taking the piss for anything but the lower category games. Forget the Billy Wright, you'll need a fucking bank loan to watch a top 6 club at home in there.

Obviously I've not had a season ticket for a long time now, but I'm absolutely raging for you fuckers that still do. An absolute piss take.

Event though it'd be 'bad' for the club, I genuinely hope take up is c70%, and the "waiting list" is proved to be complete bollocks and they're forced to put them on general sale. Absolute fucking wankers
They think they'll make more money from tourists, or at least I'm sure that's part of their warped thinking.

Who they think is coming to Wolverhampton to watch a mid-table (at best) team, I don't know.

It's a 64% increase since 2018. In 2018 we signed Raul Jimenez and Joao Moutinho.

Family enclosure -

Adult - from £635 to £780 (23%)
Under 14 - from £105 to £245 (130%)
Way to increase your youth support.
Looks like on top of the general eye-watering increases, concessions are being fleeced even more!

That would be glorious.

From my (our) point of view if ST prices work out at 38 quid per game, how much are the new walk up prices going to be when they were 55 last season? Looking at 65 a game presumably? Plus a fiver increase in the membership to 45.

Scandalous.

A Message From Our Chairman

When it comes to setting ticket prices, we benchmark our prices against those of the other 19 Premier League clubs, especially those with similar fanbase sizes, stadium capacities and sporting achievements.

We do listen to fan feedback, and we understand that price increases are unpopular, but our aim is to ensure our prices are neither significantly higher nor lower than our peers. Our ticketing team has thoroughly researched and compared Wolves with other clubs, and I believe our pricing reflects a fair and reasonable balance based on our current position, past growth and future aspirations.

Commercial growth is vital for our club's sustainability and competitiveness. While Premier League broadcasting revenue is indeed a major source of income, it is also easily offset by the club's wage bills. This means that our disposable income largely comes from commercial activities, including ticket sales, hospitality and sponsorship. This revenue is the key difference between us and the biggest clubs that we have to compete with in the Premier League and is an essential area for us to grow over time.

Our head coach, his team and squad have put in tremendous effort to ensure our club competes at the highest level on the pitch this season and, as we move into our seventh successive season in the Premier League, we will continue to keep progressing and supporting them as much as we can. Your support is invaluable to us, and we are committed to keep growing Wolves to make the club a strong and sustainable presence in the top tier of English football.

Additional Season Ticket Holder Information
  • During the 2024/25 season, the option to use a smartphone to enter the stadium will be introduced in a phased manner. Therefore, smartcards from the 2023/24 season will be reactivated. PLEASE RETAIN YOUR 2023/24 SMARTCARD.
  • The North Bank Bar is to be repurposed as an exclusive area to be offered as a Fan+ package incorporating food & drink benefits to supporters located in the Stan Cullis Lower Tier.
  • In previous seasons, those who paid by direct debit were automatically enrolled to auto-renewal for subsequent seasons. This will now also apply to season tickets renewed by card. However, you will always have the opportunity to cancel your season ticket each year before the relevant renewal window ends.
  • Redemption of Wolves Cash will not be possible when renewing season tickets for the 2025/26 season onwards.

Most of those on the list hopped on when we were watching Nuno's Wolves filled with Portugal's European Champions and the club was showing genuine ambition to be something far better than anything we had ever seen.

I really don't think I'm prepared to pay £835 for my renewal and certainly won't be paying the scandalous matchday prices for odd games so I genuinely feel right now that I've watched my final game at Molineux

I can only think it's his genuine intention - get more match day tickets available for general sale, as the margin is higher and the incidental spend per fan is higher. It's so rancidly short sighted though. You end up with an atmosphere like fucking Fulham.

Commercially it may - may - work out for a season or two, but you must be fucking stupid if you think there's an infinite number of tourist fans who are going to sign up for the battle between Wolves and Brentford for 15th on a Tuesday night in February.

And if/when we go down, you're completely and utterly fucked. They'll need to chuck season tickets out at half price to even sell 10k

Me and my lads are currently discussing whether to bother with memberships next season. The one that lives in Scotland is dubious for obvious reasons. Are we expecting it to be easier to get tickets on general sale?

You'd imagine so.

I won't be getting a membership next season.

45 quid for the privilege of buying a ticket at 60 quid? Fuck that.

I'd be surprised if I go to Molineux next season now.

Similar to Wop, I feel so sorry for those within the fanbase that have been priced out of doing something they love. What do they say? Supporting your football club isn't a choice, it's a way of life. Well they've successfully now made it in to a choice.

I remember growing up and going to watch us throughout the 90's as a middling Championship/Division 1 side. I went home and away to many games with my dad without the need for a season ticket, as they were always available whenever we wanted. Justifying making the trip up over the last year or two has become more difficult and as much as I now want to pass the torch on to my own kids and let them have the experiences that I was given, it's pretty much impossible.

I've been a member since we last came up, but I'll have to give that a serious think next season as I'm just not sure it's value for money (if it ever was).

Jeff Shi being a patronising, waffling wanker on top is enough to make you sick.

Someone on the Mix saying they're being rail loaded into auto-enrolling for cup tickets too. Anybody else confirm?

So as for your forensic benchmarking, Mr Moxshi....

How about us being the ONLY PL club to increase prices every single year since 2018? How does that fit with your avowed fairness?

Where is this from? Can't see anything on the site or app. Can only seethe prices it if I go into the ticketing part of the site.
