Are fans anti Fosun other than on here?Pretty much expected nothing until after todays game because of the anti Fosun stuff that could have been generated. Fully expect Monday morning to be the announcement.
Are fans anti Fosun other than on here?
I think it's rightly harder to be as angry at 14th in the PL as we were when it happened in the champ given respective spend, resources, expectations etc. That kind of underperformance is angering. This kind of checked out ownership just breeds apathy
Agree completely that just because we spent so long outside the top flight, we should just accept whatever we get just because its Premier League is a nonsense thought.I think the fact we’ve spent 75% of the last 40 years outside the top flight creates an attitude of “we should just be grateful to be here”
That attitude is small club minded and eventually flawed.
Current running of the club means we’re just waiting for our turn to go down.
It's forever the way with being a Wolves fan. Dare say, most other clubs. It’s an odd one I think it’s a big elephant in the room currently, no one wants to dissent because they’ll be accused of being spoilt, tourist fan and not remembering the dark days of Morgan and co in league 1.
Question is how far does sentiment go?
Personally once it’s clear you’re in reverse and going back downhill asking for change, improvement etc is more than acceptable.
Questioning a price hike with no improving product is ok to question to.
The fanbase I just don’t understand discontent use to spread after about 3-4 bad results now it seems to take an impending disaster.
Not sure if the prolonged spell in the top flight has softened the anger or not.
I don’t think this is what people have a problem with tbh (in fact I’d quite enjoy us being successful doing it in a sustainable financial way). I think it’s the lying to and fleecing of the fans. You can’t get away with that in the long runIt's forever the way with being a Wolves fan. Dare say, most other clubs.
We have some incredible footballers given what shite we've had in the past.
I understand the desire to constantly improve but the English football game has changed so much that very few teams can ever be successful. Fosun, IMO, have realised this and adjusted accordingly. Frankly, it's their business and their call. For us, well, most of us here, it's a large part of our lives, so we're guilty of a little greed.
Most of life is how you view your circumstances and how much control you feel you have. No different here. We're just a bunch of folk who love our football team and want the best for it. Unfortunately, we're not the custodians of it and never will be. We also have to realise we can't forever rely on a wealthy benefactor with no ties to the area. They got us to where we are now and I don't see a plan B. Sometimes you need to be careful about what you wish for.
PS. And there will always be another football game. Out of Darkness Cometh Light.
