Rugby League Thread

I've been travelling between islands so missed the game. Will watch it later on NRL 24/7.

Ricky Stuart -
"You wouldn’t know that we had two Origin players and an international player out – you probably would have heard about it if it was another club."

Watching the legend that is Sam Burgess on Finals Footy with Matty Johns.

Ex-Warrington half-back Lee Briers has been added to England's coaching staff as an assistant to Shaun Wane.

Briers, a former Wales and Great Britain international, is part of the coaching set-up at National Rugby League side Brisbane Broncos.

He will join ex-Castleford head coach Andy Last on Wane's backroom team for the upcoming Test series against Tonga.

As expected Panthers destroyed the Storm. Debating going to the pub tonight for the Broncos game.

Go the Wahs...

Play-offs for SL starts with;
Hull KR vs Leigh
Saints vs Warrington

I am a broncos fan so am quietly delighted but that has to be the worst forward pass miss in a very long while. At least two yards forward. At least.

Nearly kick off time for the Grand Final. Got a load of pies and sausage rolls about to go into the oven.

Panthers are justifiably favourites but I am expecting a belter of a game. Go Broncos!

Missed it, I was travelling back from Spain. Not a Panthers fan, butveven less so a Broncos one. Cue "the greatest side ever' media frenzy.

It gave Panthers rugby league’s first hat-trick of titles in 40 years since Parramatta’s triumphs in 1981-83 and was the biggest fightback in a decider, eclipsing Melbourne’s 14-point comeback to beat the Dragons in 1999.
