Rob Edwards - the prodigal son returns

This long throw thing blows my mind.
It was abandoned years ago cos people thought it was a shit idea and anti fooball. Now one team tries it and has some success and every fuckers doing it.
I've never had am issue with long throws providing,
a) you have the players to do it successfully.
b) its not your only plan.

He loves copying the current trend, in his 2 game spell as caretaker here he tried to copy Peps inverted fullbacks idea, never mind that we've got Borthwick-Jackson and not Cancelo.

The long throws are fucking rubbish they don't work and it's an eye sore, but they're probably going to continue until the end of the season.

Something that struck me on my dog walk today. Lima was recalled from his loan and in his first game back played him for a minute which meant he couldn't play for another European club this season. He's now played 9 in total whilst a hotch potch of inadequates play in his position.

I have no real idea if he's any good, I suspect he isn't, at least now, but it's not exactly best for his career is it?

Not that they will sack him come the end of the season even if he never wins another match, but who do folk think would do the best job in the Championship ?

Dyche.

Football is regressing back in style so fuck it, let's go full dinosaur.

I know it's a gamble, he could be great, he could be awful, but I'd genuinely give it to Coady. If we're playing on Handsome Rob's "connection" to the club (we bought him, he was alright at times, he left) then I'd rather it go to someone who actually loves Wolves.

And I demand he recreates the Bryan Robson unveiling

I couldn't have Dyche, he winds me up as much as Owen Coyle used to, just a total prick.

Forest fans noticed that he keeps picking his nose too :D

I can't imagine how many times Coady would say football club in the press conference if he were to rejoin us in any capacity.

I would absolutely love Conor Coady.

Has more love and feelings for Wolves than the entire current playing and management staff put together.

And if we can’t have him, Joao Moutinho, please.

Should've got Robbie Keane but he now seems lined up for either Spurs or Palace

Randomly went down a rabbit hole reading about his managerial career a few days ago, he's not taken an easy path and seems to have done really well. Would never have thought it.

Coady or Moutinho would be bonkers, absolutely ridiculous. There is zero evidence either can manage or that either wants to. May as well give it Bully at least he's got some experience if "love and feelings" is the only requirement.

I don’t think either would be ridiculous or bonkers, in the slightest.

It’s more ridiculous to appoint a manager who has relegated a Luton side from the Championship and has a complete managerial record of failure.

One win in sixteen proves this.

Pretty sure Coady would not have done any worse than that - managerial experience or not.

If you are attributing Luton being relegated from the Championship when they weren't in the bottom 3 when they sacked him then surely you have to credit him with the promotion when they weren't in the play off positions when they appointed him?

We also appointed him with Boro 2nd in the league.

That was also a ridiculous appointment, but at least one you can attempt to legitimise with some logic rather than just vibes.

I guess I’d rather an unproven failure, than a proven one.

You'd alao be gambling with Coady or Mouthinho's standing at the club if it did go wrong though?

Neither of them deserve the stench of that.

We've all been begging for the football club to act seriously and we're now talking about hiring somebody based on a few hundred performances during a golden couple of years and nothing on managerial ability or suitability.
