Relegation run in 22/23 ** Now a Wolves free zone**

There is a not completely unrealistic scenario which has us back in the bottom 3 come Wed night:
West Ham get a minimum 4 points from their 2 games
Everton beat Spurs
Bournemouth beat Brighton
Leicester beat Villa
There's a winner in the Forest V Leeds game.

Yep, it's fairly unlikely, wonder what odds you'd get from the bookies but no doubt its gunna be a roller-coaster till the end

There's only the Bournemouth one I wouldn't predict.

I doubt Leicester win unless there’s a massive reaction. I’d have that one down as the banker non winner.

Bournemouth unlikely but possible.

I think the rest will happen.

Yep that scenario is unlikely but I do think we’ll be sat in about 15/16th, bare minimum from the next two home games is 3 points.
Probably need to be around 33 points before the last 5 games.

Just hoping Chelsea have got their eyes firmly on Real when they rock up Saturday.
Also have a feeling Bournemouth won’t go down they’re out the bottom 3 with some decent fixtures left.

Chelsea are not a good team, they have won fewer league games than us since the World Cup and are in the bottom half for a reason. Forget the name, they're poor. They've failed to beat Forest, West Ham, Southampton and Everton in 2023 (all of whom are below us as it stands). Villa outplayed them fair and square yesterday, 2-0 flattered Chelsea.

Obviously we need to turn up and pick a team that makes sense or we won't get anywhere.

Your last paragraph is the problem I think it’ll be another confused head scratcher of a team selection.
I fancy us more v Chelsea than Brentford who I think we’ll really struggle against.

I would say that's completely unrealistic

We'd better beat Brentford, me and my lad going to that one and they owe us after last seasons debacle, because of course that's how it works😃

I can’t see anyone else getting a better tune out of them.

Can see Forrest pushing the same button if they lose in midweek

West Ham in front. Some amazing non-marking by Southampton, nearly as bad as Ayling's goal at Molineux.

Southampton with 9 to play, 5 points behind us (plus a worse GD, but not by a huge amount):

Man City (H)
Crystal Palace (H)
Arsenal (A)
Bournemouth (H)
Newcastle (A)
Nottm Forest (A)
Fulham (H)
Brighton (A)
Liverpool (H)

Think they've very close to gone.

All of those teams are going to have something to play for too, right up to the end you’d imagine.

12 points at the absolute most and I’m being generous and it would mean taking points off rivals. Means we’d only need 7 to rule them out and if we can’t do 7 from 9 (12 from 16 including the last 7) then that would be truly embarrassing.

I've just placed this bet. 2300 back on a tenner. Should take the edge off.
