And to make it abundantly clear why leaving the EU fucks the Irish peace:

Republicans want to be treated the same as the South
Loyalists want to be treated the same as the UK.

The GFA allows both those stances to co-exist, as effectively the treatments are broadly the same.

But once you have Ireland in the EU and the UK out then it is impossible to satisfy both stances. Satisfying one will now fail the other completely.

Perhaps if we offered the butchers a 3 year visa they'd be tempted to come to the UK. Seems controlled immigration actually means minimal, even if there's no chance we will train Brits to do the job before the proposed 8 month visas run out.

I know that many on here aren't a fan of hers but recently (is it due to the fact she'll soon be off?) her articles have been much more critical of the oaf in Downing Street. The piece she's put out now basically says that Article 16 of the NI Protocol will be triggered at some point in the next few weeks. Is this the first sign of a drip feed of stories to soften the public for when it does happen?
