REFERENDUM RESULTS AND DISCUSSION THREAD

I don't read Clarkson, but my old man had a Wolseley 1500 back in the 60s (487 FBF). If my old man had been alive I would imagine that he would be pro-exit.

Clarkson is a guilty pleasure for me, I know he's a nob and he does and can go too far, but he makes me chuckle. Especially today's article.

My dad had a 16/60
Red leather seats, walnut dashboard and built like a tank. It was such a heavy car, that when we used to go to the isle of man, they had to put a ramp on top of the existing ramp, to stop allow the car to get on the ferry.

Johnson as foreign secretary. The absolute horror.

Mind you, he does deserve some form of cabinet recognition for leading the Brexit campaign and being the figurehead before being stabbed in the back by Gove, but foreign secretary?? Good Lord.

Get me the pop corn this should be fun. The next thing would be prince Phillip as Japanese liaison

We haven't even started leaving yet.

One month on and its not the Apocalypse is it?

When people were predicting the apocalypse, Brexiters were saying you can't judge it in such a short time. and we'd only know how it would pan out in a few years. Now it doesn't looks so immediately bad (nothing actually having been done) it's all going to be OK forever? Thanks, but do you mind if I take your earlier advice and wait a few years?

Sterling's s doing well though:

I will.I do point out that the remain camp were stating the worst would be almost immediate . it would kill the economy in the first few days and weeks. It was bollocks then and has been shown to be bollocks now.I hear that interest rates may come DOWN! No real slow down in trade or property so far. I await the brexit plan with interest and optimism.

That was based on triggering Article 50 immediately, which in the build up to the Referendum the then PM said he would do. In a campaign full of bullshit this was proven to be exactly that and he resigned instead which is the position anyone with a degree of political savvy knew he would take. At the moment we are looking at a 10% increase on consumer durables from January, which in turn will bring inflation. Who knows what the future brings after that

No, not a sore loser, just fed up of the constant stream of bullshit that spews from your mouth like a broken fucking toilet in a house full of norovirus sufferers.

Look at the stupid bullshit argument you just tried to make - Lagarde supported brexit. Lagarde is now accused of corruption.

Two facts. No link. Yet you put them together. Because you're stupid. But not *that* stupid. You invited people to make the trite link that 'Person X likes Y, Person X is accused of something bad. Therefore Y is bad'

Many moons ago myself and others setup this forum as a haven from the trite moronic rhetoric we were subjected to on other forums. Those forums are still there, and would provide an ample dumping ground for your torrent of lowest-common-denominator rhetoric. Perhaps you should take a look and see if you'd be more at home there?

It looks like you like to give it, but can't take it. Socialist elitism is on the decline, get used to it.
