Ruddy has been poor today, but he's made two top, top saves to keep us ahead and then that second goal (how many teams at this level can bring a player like Costa on for the last 5 minutes?) seals the 3 points. Brilliant by Doherty, by the way.

Thanks for that link b3h, gorgeous bit of football finishing up with Doherty who I've always believed in(!) with a neat turn and deadly dagger strike past a diving keeper (in a gay pink onesie).

Much as I love my footy im glad thats over, very nervy stuff at times only some unbelievable goalkeeping stopping them scoring, Ruddy was dreadful and amazing in this game.

Build up to the Doc goal Costa going on some mazy runs just looked ready to go, hopefully he is starting to get his sharpness back.

Not a great performance overall but we look so threatening going forward, I seriously need some wine to slow the heart rate down!!

Some lovely passing there but Doherty was given the freedom of Berkshire after he made the turn. Reading should be rightfully annoyed at some shocking efforts to cover back. Still had to be finished and that was done crisply and clinically.
