Do you give your barber/hairdresser a tip? - usually, as he's a sole trader, a good all round bloke who does loads for the community locally

If your partner/spouse had a new haircut and you didnt like it one bit, would you tell them? Have done - didn't go down well at the time, but she got over it (& even had to accept that I was right some time later)

Grown up with it. It's the norm.
Do you pick your toenails or do you use proper nail clippers ?
Scissors.
What newspaper would you never buy ?
I do't buy newspapers anyway, but couldn't bring myself to acquire the sun or the mail, or the express for that matter.
Do you give your barber/hairdresser a tip?
Nah. He's a mate anyway, so that'd be weird. However I do frequently wait to be last, so we can chat. & I'll help sweep up/tidy before leaving.
If your partner/spouse had a new haircut and you didnt like it one bit, would you tell them? Yes.

At what age would you say you finally grew up ?
I don't think I have yet.
High salary or job satisfaction ?
Job satisfaction.
Fav day of the week ?
I like most of em tbh. Saturdays are good though - no work usually, lie in, potter with the tomatoes etc, football or bowls will be happening. & seeing friends.
One food you could never give up ?Cheesecake!

Absolutely not - and if it's a pint of ale, we have a talking point.

Do you pick your toenails or do you use proper nail clippers ?

Clippers

What newspaper would you never buy ?

The Sun mainly - disgusting rag I wouldn't wipe my backside with. Not too keen on many newspapers though TBH.

Do you give your barber/hairdresser a tip?

Yes I do, as I take my son with me and I am always very pleased with how they good they are with him. It must take so much more patience to cut a young kid's hair and although my son is really really well behaved, I still feel it warrants a bit extra. The barber also appreciates a decent chat so I've no problem tipping him.

If your partner/spouse had a new haircut and you didnt like it one bit, would you tell them?

In the current climate, if it looked absolutely dreadful, the last thing I'd do is tell her. :icon_lol:

At what age would you say you finally grew up ?

Probably 25 when I moved back to the Midlands, though I feel like I've aged about 10 years in 2014. I aim to feel like I've lost 10 years in 2015.

High salary or job satisfaction ?

Job satisfaction every single day of the week. I fucking hate money and what it does to people and how it makes them act. As long as I've got enough to get by and to enjoy the small things in life I get the most pleasure from, I'm more than happy.

Fav day of the week ?

Saturday. They're great. Even better if it's a matchday.

One food you could never give up ?

It'd have to be curry.

Liking all of Langers answers there, especially number 1. Over the weekend I was told by a Yank that to see a lady drinking from a pint glass is really not the done thing, and that it looks horrid.I think what came out my mouth next was more' really not the done thing , and horrid ' the obnoxious turd. Anyway, mine would be;

Absolutely not.
Clippers.
I never buy any paper.
Yes always, as here its the norm and a sign you are pleased with the outcome.
Yes I would tell them, but in a nice way !
Aged 50.
Job satisfaction ( although not worked for years since being in the States) Cant imagine getting paid highly for a job that gives you nothing in return, except money.
Fridays.
Cheese. I love cheese. Any cheese. All cheese :)

Do you think it looks unlady like when you see a female drinking a pint ?

Not at all.

At what age would you say you finally grew up ?

Probably in the first few months after my daughter was born, so 32. I view the world in a completely different way now.

High salary or job satisfaction ?

Job satisfaction. As long as I could pay the bills then I'd much rather enjoy my work. Having said that I have neither job satisfaction nor a high salary at the moment!

Fav day of the week ?

Saturday. No work, get to spend the day with the family and look out for the football scores.

One food you could never give up ?

Cake. Or Pie. Or doughnuts.
