QuestionTime With PPB, Instead of Sir Robin Day .

Ok heres a few more that just came to me whilst having me bath ;

What personality trait do you least like about yourself ? I have become (due to circumstances beyond my control) too much of a loner, sort of me against the world, and would (am trying) to change that

What body part would you change if you could ? i'd like to be about 5 centimetres taller

What turns you off ? nagging, in any form, sulking, whinging, or outright full on nagging, can't and won't handle it.

What's the hardest thing you have ever had to do ? as a job, getting retzina from the pine trees, involves lots of heavy lifting, mountain work, getting the retzina in your hair and everywhere else, and takes place in August when the year i did it , it was 42C. never again.

Would you order a Cocktail in a club or pub , if so , which ? Rye and dry old fashioned or a bloody mary

Do you believe there are other living beings on other planets ? oh yes, they don't come because they think we are always killing ourselves in silly wars

Some how , I have a feeling only pav will answer these :icon_lol:

well here's mine sooze ha ha

What's your favourite Sunday dinner ? Roast leg of lamb, peas, carrots, cabbage, roast potatoes cooked in Goose fat, gravy and mint sauce

Mine would be two pints down the local and back to roast chicken, mash, roast tata ,roast parsnip and veg and stuffing.

How do you relax ? music, reading, painting or just designing a new mirror or lamp

In a bath, reading, or floating on my back in the pool .

Thanks gents, we have moved on from the superstitious 13th page. Thanks to all who were willing to join in and reveal a bit about themselves :)

I can't believe that's it sooze, whenj is your next bath scheduled??? ha ha ha

Same with me Mark, although apparently mine doesnt click loudly, but I can feel and hear it. Was told by the dentist that removing my wisdom teeth would solve this. I think id rather cope with the clicking tbh !

Yeah i can put up with the clicking easy enough, certainly rather have that than a fuck off bill from the dentist.

What's your favourite Sunday dinner ? Probably lamb. Spinach is a must, and I'm a fan of mash. And gravy. Agree with the pub part as well. Can't beat a nice pint of ale in a handle glass on a Sunday.

How do you relax ? Playing my guitar or ukulele, having a quick blast on the Xbox, helping the kids build a train track or Lego or ideally talking absolute crap down the pub with friends.

My favourite Sunday lunch is Pork with all the trimmings.

Relaxation is of vital importance, and I like nothing more than settling down with a good book, and possibly with a glass of red wine to hand.

What's your favourite Sunday dinner ? Ooohh - this is tough. Rare rib of beef with my massive homemade yorkshire puds just wins out from Pork with loads of crackling and a leg of lamb studded with rosemary and garlic

How do you relax ?

Playing my guitars, or building model ships

What personality trait do you least like about yourself? Can be over confident and confrontational

What body part would you change if you could? My eyes and knees, would love to have them all work correctly

What turns you off? People who put spaces before punctuation and people that talk at you rather than having a conversation, selfish arseholes

What's the hardest thing you have ever had to do? Watch something I had built be manipulated out of my hands knowing there was nothing I could do about it, soul destroying

Would you order a Cocktail in a club or pub , if so , which? Long Island Iced tea or a black russian

Do you believe there are other living beings on other planets? Yes, there is proof that there are several planets (and moons) that could sustain a form of life, unfortunately none of us will see it as the theory of relativity will prevent anything but a one way trip to the stars

What's your favourite Sunday dinner ?

Potatoes, homemade gravy & some veggies

How do you relax ?

In my chair with Smooth Radio on my mac

After reading some of the answers on here , I really wished I could play an instrument.

Oh dear, I can feel some more questions coming on !!! :icon_lol: ( besides, its keeping me off the Annoyed thread, which is a good thing )

Favourite kind of soup ?

What do you appreciate more, a spectacular sunrise, or a beautiful sunset ?

Are you a ' dunker ' ?

Worst place you have ever lived ?

Would you rather wake up naked, sore and without any memory of the night before, either next to The Burger King telling you " You had it your way " OR wake up naked next to Ronald McDonald telling you that " You were loving it " ?

Ever made anything with your own hands that you were extremely proud of ? ( Johnnys answer prompted this one )

Favourite kind of soup ? There are so many I like, hard to pin down a favourite. Though the Goan Curried Chicken soup I had the other week was splendid.

What do you appreciate more, a spectacular sunrise, or a beautiful sunset ? Definitely a sunset. The ones you can see from my house are often pretty awesome. Sunrises are waaaaaay too early for me. Though I saw one at Glastonbury which was jaw-droppingly stunning. (I may have been totally Newcastled at the time though).

Are you a ' dunker ' ? Nah.

Worst place you have ever lived ? A revolting student house in Fallowfield, Manchester. I was only there for about 9 months thank god but it was hell!

Would you rather wake up naked, sore and without any memory of the night before, either next to The Burger King telling you " You had it your way " OR wake up naked next to Ronald McDonald telling you that " You were loving it " ? This is the most bizarre question in the history of TWF. :icon_lol: Erm.. neither?

Ever made anything with your own hands that you were extremely proud of ? Can I say the mural in my daughter's bedroom? If so, that.

Favourite kind of soup ? Oxtail, or possibly a lobster bisque

What do you appreciate more, a spectacular sunrise, or a beautiful sunset ? Sunset

Are you a ' dunker ' ? Not really

Worst place you have ever lived ? Student accommodation in Leicester that was falling apart and open to the cold. Spent all winter waking up to frost inside the house.

Would you rather wake up naked, sore and without any memory of the night before, either next to The Burger King telling you " You had it your way " OR wake up naked next to Ronald McDonald telling you that " You were loving it " ? Neither frankly.

Ever made anything with your own hands that you were extremely proud of ? When Bismarck is finished I will be proud of it. Come back to me in about fifteen months.

Worst place you have ever lived ?

Would you rather wake up naked, sore and without any memory of the night before, either next to The Burger King telling you " You had it your way " OR wake up naked next to Ronald McDonald telling you that " You were loving it " ?

WTF

Ever made anything with your own hands that you were extremely proud of ?

Yes

PPB's would be ;

If out the tin then Oxtail. If homemade then my mushroom soup.

A sunrise.

Absolutely yes :)

Darlaston, West Midlands.

Telling me " I was loving it " !!

Helped make and put a stairway in. Having never done one before, a very proud moment at the end .

Plastic but with etched brass extra detailing to make them hopefully museum quality. Just started doing a 1/200 Bismarck at the moment. About sixty inches long. Massive.

I used to do a fair few Airfix kits as a kid, lost the patience for it as i got older though. Only ever attempted a few ships though, think i had HMS Hood, HMS Fearless and possibly a Bismarck much smaller than yours, the scales were always something stupid like 1:800 though so i got fucked off with the fiddly bits and went back to planes.

I had a little 15 year delayed related strop last week in Hobbycraft actually, saw that they'd got a model of the Valiant bomber, gave me a flashback of the two big models of the Victor and Vulcan that i had but could never find the Valiant kit anywhere to complete the trio.
