QuestionTime With PPB, Instead of Sir Robin Day .

Last thing you have eaten?
Bacon sandwich just now. Cut in half, one with an egg on, the other half with fruity sauce.

The Clap for Carers/NHS every Thursday, do you still do it, or have you never done it?
Never done it and don't intend to. I donate something every week to the NHS charities instead which is much more useful IMO.

Those with little ones, how are they coping with no hugs from Grandparents, no school, not seeing school friends etc?
N/A

What colour sheets are on your bed?
Black.

Anyone watched the series Fortitude, if so, is it worth a watch?
Nope.

What is you least favourite meat?
I used to love lamb, but recently I can't seem to stomach the fat content in it.

What's your favourite flavour of Pringles?
Plain.

What do you miss most about matchdays? ( I could answer loads on this one )
The whole matchday atmosphere and watching your team with your own eyes instead of on a screen.

What time did you go to bed last night?
2am. My bedtime has been drifting over the last couple of weeks, after sticking to 12pm for ages. I still get up between 8-9am though.

Last thing you have eaten?
Tuna mayo, avocado and tomato sandwich. Omnomnom. The king of sandwiches. Dont @ me.

The Clap for Carers/NHS every Thursday, do you still do it, or have you never done it?
Yeah but really just cos for the kids its something they look forward to doing. I mean bashing a pan with a wooden spoon as loud as you like out in the street, what's not to love. Personally very conflicted about it all, massively supportive of front line workers but dont want to be a puppet of this propaganda machine.

Those with little ones, how are they coping with no hugs from Grandparents, no school, not seeing school friends etc?
They seem largely oblivious to be honest. None of the kids miss school, Eden misses her mates but plays xbox online with them so chats every day.

What colour sheets are on your bed?
Grey/beige I think. Can't be arsed to check tbh.

Anyone watched the series Fortitude, if so, is it worth a watch?
Yeah, I mean it gets a bit far fetched but its reasonably gripping stuff, you'll enjoy it once you get into it...give it a whirl.

What is you least favourite meat?
Liver. Ewwww.

What's your favourite flavour of Pringles?
Don't do pringles...I'm an Aldi sea salt and black peppercorns man, or good old salt and vinegar at a push.

What do you miss most about matchdays? ( I could answer loads on this one )
The pre-match beers with mates down the pub, the walk to the ground with whichever nipper is tagging along, the adrenaline rush when we score/win etc, generally just watching the best quality football I've seen first hand in my lifetime, turning up knowing that we've got a very decent chance against any opposition.

What time did you go to bed last night?
On a school night these days around 11:30ish, last night was 11:45 after watching Killing Eve. Must try harder not to go on FM just before bed...

Last thing you have eaten? Warm baguette with Italian salami

The Clap for Carers/NHS every Thursday, do you still do it, or have you never done it? Still go out, but its muted down my end of the cul de sac & turned into a set time for neighbours to meet & have a 'distanced' chat

Those with little ones, how are they coping with no hugs from Grandparents, no school, not seeing school friends etc? Don't have any grandkids yet (though elder son has a new much younger partner so who knows) so no idea really.

Anyone watched the series Fortitude, if so, is it worth a watch? Not watched it so can't say

What is you least favourite meat? Not a massive fan of corned beef, but will happily eat anything else

What's your favourite flavour of Pringles? stopped buying crisps, among other things, a few years back when I was trying to lose weight (worked as have got rid of 16 kilo's). If I did then salt & vinegar

What do you miss most about matchdays? ( I could answer loads on this one ) Walking into the pub, getting the first pint & meeting up with those already there. That & the iconic walk to the ground with Molineux appearing as you come through the subway.

What time did you go to bed last night?

11 pm, but read with the radio on for another 40 mins.

Weasel - liver is good as long as it is cooked properly

Would agree that if its not then it is rank.

Last thing you have eaten?
Grilled cheese on mackerel on toast.

The Clap for Carers/NHS every Thursday, do you still do it, or have you never done it?
Nope. Huge fan of the NHS, no chance I'd have seen my fortieth birthday without it, but the clapping is a bit of nonsense (although I'm not gonna knock anyone who does it).

Do drivers in general prefer no passengers or does it get boring?

I asked this very question on Facebook!

Do drivers in general prefer no passengers or does it get boring?

I prefer no passengers, an empty bus is a happy bus but it also depends on the route you’re doing because there are some delightful people who use public transport. On the coaches full coach everytime because theres a chance of a “wippy”

Last thing you have eaten?

A hot, buttered muffin.

The Clap for Carers/NHS every Thursday, do you still do it, or have you never done it?

Never done it. I hugely appreciate all they are doing but all the clapping just seems a bit hypocritical to me considering how many people around here voted Conservative. If you really want to help the NHS then don't vote Tory.

Those with little ones, how are they coping with no hugs from Grandparents, no school, not seeing school friends etc?

Belle (8) misses her friends but not school itself Arlo (5) doesn't seem to be missing anything about school! They both seem to be enjoying spending so much time at home with us and we are doing all we can to make it fun for them.

What colour sheets are on your bed?

Grey with pink flowers. My wife is in charge of choosing the bed sheets!

Anyone watched the series Fortitude, if so, is it worth a watch?

Never seen it.

What is you least favourite meat?

I like all meats. I think pork is a bit bored but love sausages & bacon!

What's your favourite flavour of Pringles?

I'll say Chicken Tikka Masala just because that's the flavour we currently have in the house.

What do you miss most about matchdays? ( I could answer loads on this one )

The actual match itself. I don't get to go too often so can't really be missing any other parts of matchdays.

What time did you go to bed last night?

About 21.30 and read my book for a bit.

Last thing you have eaten? skin heads on a raft (curry style)

The Clap for Carers/NHS every Thursday, do you still do it, or have you never done it? yep every Thursday with the kids, it doesn't change anything but it does show a public recognition that we are thankful for all the essential workers efforts. If it can make even one of those people feel valued then it is a worthwhile exercise. (Plus it reminds me to put the bin out!)

Those with little ones, how are they coping with no hugs from Grandparents, no school, not seeing school friends etc?
Home schooling is a challenge especially as the teachers have been far from forthcoming with setting work or any meaningful planning (so much I had to subscribe myself to white rose maths) grandparents are missing them of course. Friend wise they are still having some interaction through media but its not the same for them

What colour sheets are on your bed?
No idea

Anyone watched the series Fortitude, if so, is it worth a watch?
Nope

Probably chicken but I'm a big meat lover so its all good

Sour cream

What do you miss most about matchdays? ( I could answer loads on this one )
Match days now consist of taking my 2 sprogs, so its a very different experience to when it was just me and my mates, but you still get that tingle of excitement once you get into the ground, I do miss that. The sprogs will miss rinsing me for burgers and chips

That's a very interesting thread. What do you mean by readjusting?

I've thought about changing a lot of times in the last few months but I'm really not sure what I'd do!

I just foresee the parts of my job I like (the travel, meeting people, new places and speaking) won’t be there even after then end of lockdown. I’ll be left with the parts I dislike (as I’m doing now), and frankly another 20 years of that can do one.

I’ve been thinking about what I could do as an alternative and frankly I’m a bit stumped. Even more so after reading that thread.

Did you come up with anything interesting? Be a big change to not be your own boss I think.
