QuestionTime With PPB, Instead of Sir Robin Day .

I only suffer with my chest when I get a cold. I have an inhaler but I don't think I used one for about 7 years now. As a kid it was horrible and the scariest moment came when I went for my check up and on that day my chest was really bad. I was packed off to a Ward to have some oxygen etc and this ward was dark and had 4 other beds in and the kids in them were just lying there wheezing away. The noise and atmosphere terrified me!.

Until I was about 14 I couldn't do anything that involved running.

Only ever seen hubby have a really bad one, terrified me. Awful when you see someone gasping for breath and inhalers are not doing shit. Must be particularly terrifying for little kids who suffer with it.

Had it from when I was born, so it was something I grew up with. Also seeing my Dad suffer with it (and will do so until his time is up) and then my little Brother (my sisters were both free of it, not happy about that....) probably just made it normal part of life. Plus I got out of school loads for check ups etc.

I think I was about 25 the last time I had a full on attack that required urgent attention.

My daughter still suffers with it, but she's got her inhalers and has medicine most nights to ensure her breathing is okay - works a treat. She's not been wheezy for a long time now which is great, as it's horrible seeing her wheeze, cough and splutter when she does get bad. She seemed fine over winter when we all came down with various ailments but she didn't, so we're hoping she's improving as she gets older.

Steroids changed my life. I went from using my blue inhaler every four hours (including waking at night to take it) to not needing to carry one around with me in the space of a few weeks.

Bit more of a personal nature than previous questions, but Jolemai suggested this one so blame him! So, what are the tunes that you and your good lady, spouse, partner, girlfriend, boyfriend call ' Our Song' you don't have to divulge the why its your song if you don't want to.I'm gonna come back to this as there are a few.

Young Girl is a great song. You'd never get away with those lyrics nowadays though!

We don't really have a song that's 'ours'. Any of the music from our wedding could be described as 'our songs' but we didn't have a first dance or anything. I suppose if we had a song it would be the one we walked back down the aisle to after getting married which was 'Before You Were Born' by Rocky Votolato. A few of the albums we used to listen to when we first got together always make me think of my wife when I listen to them.

I could choose almost anything by The National, as that's the only band we're equally passionate about. But I'll say Mr November or Terrible Love as those are the songs that have provided our most memorable gig moments.

Actually, this one from our wedding is probably the one that makes me think of my wife the most:

(I cant actually view youtube vids on my work computer for some reason, it errors every time, so hope the link is right)

Forever by Turin Brakes - we walked down the isle to my mates playing it on acoustic. Our first dance was I Will by The Beatles.

There is a light that never goes out - The Smiths

and she doesn't like The Smiths except for this song.

Do you have a hairy chest, if so what colour is it ?

Semi hairy, and black(i guess half of the world knew that already) ;)

I do but it's a bit rubbish, it's not really a beastly man rug. The hair is dark (dunno if it's black or dark brown - the rest of my hair is brown apart from my beard which is bloody ginger).
