Is age, or age difference a big issue when it comes to relationships ?

No, it should not be a big issue. As long as you have things in common, similar shared interests, and there is loyalty, respect, appreciation, compatability and can make each other laugh, then it shouldn't matter. It used to bother Mr Penguin, but the older we have got, the things that used to bother him, don't anymore. When you get older you realise its not important to have lots of friends, its more important to have just a few true real friends. After 30 years, despite a 12 year age difference, I'd say it can work.

I know he's a prick, I know he's offensive half the time but I dunno - I don't actually dislike him all that much. He reminds me of a semi-annoying uncle whose 'humour' is always borderline offensive. And I've several of those.

I'd rather be Adrian Chiles for a month than be that supercilious, bigheaded, arrogant,self important, insulting, cocky, mocking, self righteous bastard for one day. I honestly don't think I have ever disliked anyone on the tele so much as that wanker. Its at times like these I wish I could come out with a Paddy rant.

It all boils down to how you kill the penguin, club it on the back of the neck and its at this point that I thought that Bubbles would be much better off with a Rogan Josh and a nice bit of naan for mopping up

No idea. My great grandmother was in her late 90s I think, but most of my grandparents had died before I was born.

Twice a day in the week and try and get him on a long walk at the weekends. He has been to the seaside one........and ran away from the water.
