QuestionTime With PPB, Instead of Sir Robin Day .

They feast themselves silly here on Christmas eve, and then they do it all again on Christmas day. Prezzies are opened on the 24th once the kids have gone to bed, at some point between the eigth and ninth course.

Once Christmas week is over I can barely walk any more.

The most number of courses I counted up to in Denmark was twelve - then again I may have lost count due to the Aquavit.

Dinner For One? Yes, every New Year's Eve. No accounting for taste.

Is that the one with the old duchess and that male servant stepping over a bear(maybe it was a tiger) head

"same procedure as every year James"

If it is then it's been showed every year here as well but the evening before Christmas Eve,at least the last 40 years.

Yeah, it's TERRIBLE. But they love it. Strange.

Same in sweden..it is shown every year..tradition

Clotted cream is immense!

Clotted cream only works when combined with scones & jam at a country pub/tea room in Devon on a nice hot sunny day

If im at a country pub in Devon, I want a Cider and a pkt of peanuts , not clotted cream !

Clotted cream >>>>> salad cream tbf

Have you ever worn a full Santa suit, either for a kids party or just for some odd kinky reason ?
Are you propositioning me? :)
What time do you normally eat your Christmas day meal ?
When it's ready. Anytime between 1.30-3pm. late afternoon/evening is for grazing.
Do you open presents first thing on the morning or later in the day ?
I'm a spiteful so and so who will accept a present & leave it there. To be fair, I prefer to watch others opening than open mine.
Should PPB hold back on the Christmas questions until at least December 1st?
Fook yeah :icon_wink: I've 6 peoples birthdays to sort between now & christmas :(
Do you prefer ya pork pie with egg in it or not ?
Good lord yeah. Gala pie. Bought from the butchers. I buy a mahoosive one.

Favourite Christmas film ?

Die Hard? I've actually got no idea. When I was a child it was Disney's Robin Hood as it was on every year...

Do people still listen to the Queens Speech, or does everyone reach for the button to mute her ?

Never listened to it and neither did my family. Can't say it really bothers me and I rarely have the TV on these days anyway.

Ever had a memorable snog under the mistletoe ?

No :mecry:

Do you attend Church over the Christmas period, whether it be for Carols, Midnight Mass, or the kids Nativity play ?

No, no and thrice no. I actually shudder at the thought of it.

What do you prefer on your Christmas pud, cream or custard ?

Neither: don't like Christmas pudding.

What's always on top of your tree, fairy, star, or other ?

I can't remember.
.

I've got my money on the new Mrs Langers coming up trumps :)

Do you have a lucky number ?

Can you iceskate?

What was the last thing you put in your mouth ?

What colour socks you got on ?

Would you be willing to go on Big Brother ?

Is there a drink you have at Christmas time that you don't drink at any other time of the year ?

When opening presents, are you a ripper or would you be able to use the paper again ?

Would you say you are a good judge of character ? I'd say I'm quite good.

Do you have a lucky number ? Not really. 21 as my birth date and Steve Bull's squad number from Italy 1990 would be my pick if I had to.

Can you iceskate? No

What was the last thing you put in your mouth ? Coffee

What colour socks you got on ? Black

Would you be willing to go on Big Brother ?No

Is there a drink you have at Christmas time that you don't drink at any other time of the year ? I like a bottle of port but once its drunk I won't get another for 12 months.

Would you have to be drunk before willing to play Charades ? No

Were you ever in a school play ?
Tin Man in Wizard of Oz. Jud Fry in Oklahoma. I still haven't got a heart.

I rip and get it in the bin as soon as possible. I hate the mess.

Would you say you are a good judge of character ?

Not always, but mostly I think I'm an excellent judge of character.

Do you have a lucky number ?

Not 'lucky', but I do like the number 9.

Can you iceskate?

Never tried it, no desire to. Same as skiing/snowboarding - no interest whatsoever.

What was the last thing you put in your mouth ?

A glass of water. Exciting times.

What colour socks you got on ?

Black. Standard.

Would you be willing to go on Big Brother ?

I'd rather adopt James.

Is there a drink you have at Christmas time that you don't drink at any other time of the year ?

Baileys normally gets handed around, so yes! Oh, and I don't normally have mulled wine or cider unless it's Christmas.

Would you have to be drunk before willing to play Charades ?

No, I have children. I always have to play it!

Were you ever in a school play ?

Yep. I've been Father Christmas, a robot, John Lennon and a drunk. Some roles were better performed than others.

When opening presents, are you a ripper or would you be able to use the paper again ?

Why would you want to use the paper again? That's just silly. And just HOW obsessed are you with Christmas?! :icon_lol: I think you're ten times more excited about it than either of my kids!!
