QPR (H) 19/8 Build Up

Martinez
Iorfa - Stearman - Hause - Golbourne
Price - McDonald
Wallace
Dicko - Le Fondre - Ojo

I imagine there will be some rotation in the team, what with this being the second midweek game in a row, so it feels a good time to give ALF a chance to lead the line (and for Wallace and Ojo to get some time as well to show what they're about). Also think Coady could probably do with a rest - the guy ran himself ragged on Sunday. Still on the bench for if we need him, though, of course.

QPR look dogdirt at the moment, and we should be winning this.

Coady and Afobe have to play. Wallace won't and Dicko may be the one rested

I can't see Wallace coming in for Edwards: not when the lad has missed an entire pre-season and has only played one game.

The only change I would make is ALF for Dicko. I don't think Dicko did anything wrong on Saturday, but I would rest him with a view to three games in a week. Plus on a selfish note I would like to see what ALF has to offer.

Maybe Price for McDonald too? Or one of the midfield pairing. Either that or I'd take McDonald or Coady off at 50-60 minutes. They were both blowing out of their backsides at 80 minutes on Sunday.

I'd keep the same team - but with a view to bringing subs on earlier than yesterday - in particular ALF for Dicko. I don't think anyone deserves to lose their place and it should be enough for the 3 points with a similar performance.

I wouldn't go dropping/resting the likes of Coady, Dicko etc unless it's absolutely necessary, ie they are physically incapable of starting another game on Wednesday (unlikely I would say). They can come off and have a rest if we're two or three up after an hour.

I don't think we will make any changes. Possibly ALF in if anything as he's not available on the weekend.

ALF does a very different job to Dicko. He cannot come into the same formation and do a like for like job. He's a box finisher he's not going to move the centre halves around, hold the ball up, or make the runs into the channels that Dicko does. If he comes in then for me we need a more conventional 442 with Afobe doing a lot of the above

Same team for me. We'll be all over QPR if we play like we did yesterday, no need to make any changes.

Wallace won't be in the squad then.

My first league game this season. I can't wait to see if KH gets heckled or not 😉

Me too, in the South Bank, SL3

Me too Leeds (South Bank SL2) - staying over so may see you somewhere - Western I suspect

KH did some good things & some rubbish things, but the consensus (at least on here on the whole) is that he doesn't play for us any more so why pay him any attention.

(though suspect he will get some heckling if he appears)

First league game for me, but will it live up to last weeks thriller v Newport?

Staying in the Redwings 'Wolves Forum' Lodge. Looking forward to catching up with various people.

Edwards has to be dropped for someone who can create chances for our front two. Running around a lot isn't enough to make our side. Other than that, same team for me. Was surprised ikeme was dropped, but Martinez did well so should keep the shirt.

From all the accounts I've seen, creating chances was not the problem against Hull.

Seems some are seriously underestimating QPR. Big mistake in my view.

I'm at the Brit. TWF Maverick lodgings.

Not really. We should be aiming to win every home game in this division. We're good enough to beat anyone in the league, especially at home.
