Pre-Season Fixture thread (22/23)

Smith has looked pretty comfortable in goal.

A lot of the runs we're making also weren't happening last season at all. Promising.

If Morgan finished that it would have eclipsed Kilman's goal. Phenomenal football again

Whoever this muppet is on Hesgoal comms is, he really struggles with names.

Moww-tinho
Matt Kilman
Jonny Otto is just known as "Jonny with one n"
Had to have two goes at Traore earlier

I am worried for the season last pre season we looked poor, and it turned out OK, this press season we look really good shite

Last pre season we weren’t very good, but the season turned out ok.
This pre season we look ok so the coming season we aren’t going to be very good.
Think that’s what he’s trying to say

Shame we couldn't score a couple more, but still a decent performance.

Next Sat is away to Sporting, where we can hopefully tap up Nunes.

Besiktas were poor but there were lots of positive signs for us. The interplay and movement of that front 3/4 would have caused any team problems.

I really enjoyed watching that, the one touch stuff was a joy.

Didn’t see any of it, but keeper and new signings 🤣 aside that's the team I want to see.

Did Raul look a precaution or something more worrying?

He was holding his groin so he was feeling something but it didn't look too serious on the face of it.

Stretched for a tackle after chasing back from losing the ball and immediately started messing with his groin. Physio came on, played on 5 mins and then came off

Lembikisa looks a talent. Hadn't seen much of him before this tour but I've liked what I've seen.

He looks more natural at what Lage wants from his right back offensively than either Jonny or Semedo

He's more of a modern fullback that's for sure, whipped in a couple of quality crosses from deep. Interesting to see if he's going to be around the squad.
