****POLL NOW IN OP****Who do you want next?

Allegri was only at 25s in the betting when I looked, but agreed he's unlikely. I can't edit it now though, which also means we're stuck with Brono, which will possibly haunt me until he gets sacked in 18 games time.

No Cathro. Gutted.

For the eagle eyed, Wolves twitter current follows 1,876 people, not the usual 1,877. I think an announcement is imminent...

How do you get to see how the poll is going?

Maybe they just unfollowed @Nuno

What's Sarri doing nowadays?, dont think he has a job at present.

Did as well as he could at Chelsea, europa league and best of the rest after City/Liverpool

Deep lying playmaker (Neves), attacking full backs & wingers, we are halfway there, need a bit of speed at centre back mind.

Rudi Garcia's dreadful, made an absolute mess of the Lyon job. They could've easily won the league this year with PSG having a down year but he managed to balls it up.

And yes he has been very bad at bringing through the youth - they have some amazing young players (Cherki being the standout probably) and he seemingly changes things every week without having any kind of clear plan.

Gattuso managed to balls up CL qualification yesterday, I would hope he's not on the radar either.

-edit- if Brono gets it maybe he'll keep Japan Moutinho on as a coach

I dont think it makes much difference who we want. I would be very surprised if the next manager is not a Mendes client.

So its Lopetegui or Lage and I prefer the former.

I don't think Lopetegui is a Mendes client, although he is close to his agent. Why do people think he'd leave CL bound Sevilla to come here? I'd be surprised if we went after any manager under contract tbh

Tbf he was going to go from Porto to us in the Championship, much like Nuno did, so I can kind of see it. Our stock is much higher now but so is his...I guess it would depend if he thinks he can take them further - they just finished with the most points in their history, I think?

It's a big ask to break that top 3 - maybe harder than breaking the top here as they have an even greater advantage over the others.

Looking at the betting the one thing you can say is that Lage (I'm rhyming it with Braga) is absolutely not nailed on. There's plenty of evens available, and around 6/4 on Betfair. The only person backed this morning has been Rafa Benitez, and then not for much money.

New manager odds aren't a great barometer until they close the betting.

Rúben Amorim wouldn't get a work permit as he hasn't done his coaching badges.
