O'Neil aka GONe

Corner flag before midday or relegation with GON I think.

His comments certainly suggested he knows he is gone, but that could actually be him assuming that Shi and Hobbs are vaguely competent (despite all the evidence) and he may be pleasantly surprised by continued employment while the rest of us are more than a touched peeved at such a development.

Unless it’s happened by midday I think it’s not happening, it’s better for GON and us that he leaves now it’s beyond broken.

Think he'll go today. We'll then get some guff about 'our search begins' and Davis in charge.

If they haven't started the thought process and putting the feelers out yet then we're already down, and they must know this.

Can't waste multiple games on the likes of Davis, and they must know that employing another bottom feeder after that won't cut the mustsrd

No World Cup break to mask Shi's incompetence this year and for the new guy to start bedding in his ideas.

We could appoint anybody and it still gets worse before it gets better particular considering the late December/January fixture list.

I can't wait for the media and other clubs fans to start telling us how crazy we are for sacking him after such tough fixtures.

If he’s still here at lunchtime it’s clear relegation doesn’t bother Fosun and that can only because they have an alternative plan which will be to asset strip and get what they can for the shell of a club that remains.

We're 3 points off safety with over half a season to go. Any decent manager would keep us up from here just by making us more organised at the back.
I’m not sure we have the players, most notably CHs, for a new manager to make a huge difference immediately. I think most of the names mentioned will make improvements but we’ll be limping along to the transfer window and by then it could be a lot more than a 3 point gap. Even when we get to January it’s likely the available money will be very limited. Moyes and Potter may well think they’d be better off biding their time for a more attractive proposition.

Lop 66% more points, has some form of CV, West Ham actually played well the other day and should have won, not limped to a 2-4 and 0-4 which both could have been more and we were brutally outplayed. How does he still have support!

At least O Hara has just said “I like him and he’s a good guy and coach but he can’t be far off going and losing 4-0 to Everton probably means you’ve got to go”.

People said we couldn't get RVN because he'd left PSV and they'd been playing in the Champions League. Then, having just left Man Utd, he rocked up at Leicester, whose centre-backs are Jannik Vestergaard and Conor Coady and haven't got a pot to piss in.

We need to stop pretending we aren't an attractive prospect still because this is exactly what Shi is doing and he's gaslighting us into thinking this so we 'may as well just keep cheap and cheerful Gaz'. We are a big club in the world's biggest league with some fantastic footballers and most managers would jump at the chance to work with players of the quality of Cunha, RAN, Andre, Joao Gomes, JSL etc.

Hopefully we’ll find out soon!
