Notts Forest 0-0 Wolves 11/2 How did we get a point verdict thread.

Edwards is just an indefinite caretaker while Fosun sort their shit out behind the scenes. Jeff apparently knew he was being moved on for months before it actually happened, everything about his appointment reminds me of when we got Lambert after the Zenga debacle.

If he managed to pull off some kind of recovery, great, but otherwise his job is to keep things steady until the summer until the actual plan goes into effect (whatever the fuck that's going to be). His best case scenario is pulling off a kind of recovery that shows he might be worth keeping in the Championship - and that was clearly the gamble he wanted to take by coming here - but I'm very much not expecting him to be our manager come the start of next season. (Not that I expect Fosun to necessarily find someone better.)
Oh he’s absolutely keeping it steady. We’re just as shit now as we were earlier in the season! I guess we’ll always have the 2-3 games in/around the West Ham win to celebrate…

As for Jeff knowing for months, he may well have done (I’ve no idea) but why did he put himself in the firing line doing yet another car crash interview shortly before it was officially announced he was going? Saying he’s known for months would mean there was some sort of pre-planning involved and all the recent evidence points to us making decisions based on whichever way the winds blowing.

Awful, awful, awful. There only highlight was the pub prior to the game. Shit game, shit journey there and back.
"Rob Edwards Barmy Army" still being sung by the away end...

Nathan Shi isn’t a new appointment. He was actively involved in the running of the club for almost 12 months before being announced as Jeff’s interim replacement. Extremely intelligent but zero football knowledge

You dont give a manager a 3 year deal after a million defeats either....twice

Wolves are a special breed of stupid at the moment so rule nowt out.
Exactly. They make stupid decisions spending millions all the time. £4m seems like a lot for a manager but they've spent more on worse decisions and who knows what they'd be willing to spend to save face or "get their guy".

We also have no idea what the new Shi will do if Mendes tells him he knows a manager who's free.

Not disputing it, it seems likely. But where did that info come from?

You mean the club lied to us? I can’t believe it

If true then little will change then in this bright new era?

Fuck these wankers. They treat us like absolute mugs

They do, but there's also an element of getting what we allow. How many lies are enough? When are prices too expensive? How many times will fans allow themselves to be gaslit? Where did the protests go? Shi I was an issue, he was never the biggest one though, that remains above him. The appointment of Shi II proved that.
