I think i have gone beyond being angry with Tchatchoua, he genuinely looks like he knows he shouldn't be out there. It's not pleasant to watch, not just the footballing ineptitude

a) look utterly dreadful, lull Forest into a false sense of security and then

b) spring into action as an attacking force.

I missed all the first half and couldn’t have full attention on the second half. Still saw enough to see we have some embarrassing footballers. Jackson was only on 30 minutes but managed to do some laughable things. Him for the first time ever not passing it back to Sa when the ball comes to him on the halfway line from a corner and then hitting a diagonal about 20 yards from its target.

The long throws were a disgrace. Mix it up FFS! Ended up getting caught on the counter more than it created.

A few opportunities we had counters and overloads and didn’t even conjure up a shot. Then in the final minute have a 4 v 1 and end up taking a shot on his weak foot. We didn’t deserve anything anyway.

I can’t see these players just flipping a switch next year. But we can’t buy 20 new players.

@Elephant Pyjamas the application being at such low levels was one of the reasons it was so bad.

I saw players throwing themselves at shots numerous times, and putting their heads in where it hurt, I think its harsh to say they weren't trying, particularly after the first 20 mins or so (where they did look completely not arsed)

You can't tell me Tolu, Rodrigo and Mane weren't trying for example.

Them being poor and making terrible decisions though is a different matter.

Them being poor and making terrible decisions though is a different matter.

They’re lacking character and self motivation blocking shots and putting in brave headers isn’t that exerting running yourself into the ground is. Not sure many of our players did that.

I'm at work so didn't see the game, seemingly the point is a lot better than the performance. All I will say based on reading the Matchday thread is, was a lack of ability/confidence/belief/ coaching/game planning being confused with a lack of effort? I don't look at that starting 11 (with the exception of A Gomes and Armstrong as I don't have an opinion on them yet) and see anyone I'd not expect to try. Lots of limitations but not effort. You saw it though, I didn't.

On Armstrong being called lightweight and crap, that's the downside of signing someone for next season 6 months early, as that's exactly what he is and is proven to be at PL level. He'll continue to be for the next however many games we have left. The danger is he goes into next season ground down by that.

Thing is their caveman football didn't merit winning the game either, that tent wearing prick sulking was lovely, this is YOUR fault because you can't keep your beak out. Would love to see Dyche relegated and never manage in the top flight again, still such a cunt on the touchline too.

Krejci did alright second half so he can have MOTM. No one played well first half.
