The only negative is after being on the end of such a thrashing, they’re bound to tighten up for the weekend which is annoying.

Wonder what type of reception Lopetegui will get?

Is it a good thing to play a team that's just got walloped 5-0?

Conversely Burnley had just won 5-0.

Fuck knows

I'll never forget Blues coming to Molineux and getting a cleansheet after losing 9-0 the game prior.

I think the last sentence answers your question. Blues bulleted Clark(?) afterwards as did Bournemouth with Parker. With the same manager I think it's an advantage as confidence is low, that's negated to a degree with a different voice in the dressing room.

Fulham go above us after that mauling.

Just goes to show how small the margins are, ay?

Biggest thing for me is that getting pasted like that clearly exposes your deficiencies and can give very clear focus to the preparation for the next opponent. Lots of "coachable moments" on film, so to speak.

Portsmouth rock bottom with zero points. It's OK you've got Wolves next

He`ll be first name on the team sheet on Saturday, don`t worry.

Alternately they'll be working on those during the rest of the week and maybe tighten those areas up for the weekend.
