Totally agree, felt a very "meh" signing, but he's been genuinely superb, and seems to be getting better.

Confidence is a key thing. He's never really been allowed to express himself before and GON seems to allow players to do that. That goal will have done him the world of good as well. Now he's getting in the team and showing he deserves his place. Sometimes it takes time to settle and if you have a manager who has doubts about you, it's going to affect how you play.
