We’re deservedly behind reacted so badly to going behind. The 2 big decisions are 50/50 the most annoying one is him missing Burns tackle on Neves. It’s annoying if it’s given onfield it stays a penalty.
Johnny, Moutinho, Raul in particular are looking lost. No surprise Raul looks isolated again and more suitable for a Sunday league game.

Never a penalty, hardly any contact.
Edit, just seen it again from another angle.. it is.
Not a foul for their goal, good tackle by Raul.
Since the goal we've been all over place.
Possibly go 3 atb again? Cunha on up front with Raul.

No doubt if the penalty had been given Pope would have gone.

Raul did create the sending off & penalty we did not get.

So as we all predicted/knew beforehand (without spending every day with the players on the training pitch like Julen does), Raul cannot play this role by himself anymore. Cunha needs to come on and play close to him.

Moutinho has been alright but cannot play the advanced midfielder role.

Podence/Adama as infuriating as ever.

Having seen multiple replays of the Raul incident now, we’ve been absolutely shafted by the referee and the VAR team. Pope clearly body checks him shoulder to shoulder and it should have been a penalty and a sending off. Much easier to hide behind the “it’s not clear and obvious” line, though. Jokers.

Lop will once again have to get something from this game by making changes. Would also be helpful if we could stop letting them run in behind every single time they go forward.

Pretty sure (need someone with a better memory) that it’s not the first time we’ve seen Raul go down in the area when he didn’t need to?

Might have been a penalty, granted, but he’d have been better not looking for the foul and actually trying to score the fucking goal.

Pope looked like a man condemned whilst waiting for a decision. Gone with the not enough to overturn the refs on field decision, when the ref was 50 yards away. Deserve to be behind but if that’s given then it’s a red card and completely different game.

Fucking joke referee has fucked us here. Make no mistake that's a pen and Toon down to 10 and this cunt has cheated us.

It's a foul for the goal, Isak has both hands in Jonny's back.

Podence has been shite in the main but not as bad as Kilman. Dreadful performance from both and should be hooked at HT for Neto and Collins.

Cunha should be on and linking with Raul. But not for Moutinho, for Neves who's had a real bashing today.

I try not to get too high or too low over football as it's something out of my control but I'm fucking indignant at the moment.

Players should be channelling this into something positive instead of losing their shit and collapsing, mentality is still a big problem.

I wasn't convinced on the pen but that angle they showed at half time is pretty damning.

I can't really blame the ref, he's not in a position to see so doesn't give it but VAR should be asking him to look at it.

A confident centre forward simply sweeps the ball into the net first time and then there's none of the debate. As is having seen it again I think it's a penalty and the fact the referee is miles away means the clear and obvious error stuff is bollocks as there's no way the ref can make an informed decision from where he is on the pitch.

Saying that we've been absolutely awful pretty much since that decision and deservedly losing.
